Man it's cold outside the most body heat escapes through your the top of your head. I would rather sponge and line up/fade keep up top high for the rest of the winter months.

I decided to retire the sponge and go back to the short cuts. Thinning spot on the top of my head finally got to me.
 
Cut mine also, wanted to start fresh and wave up for the spring. I'll be back to where I was by May or so tho :pimp:

It's not just cutting hair, you can learn basically any skill on YouTube. Like dude above said, yea somethings aren't going to be the same as hands on learning and one on one instruction but you can biuld the foundation of knowledge to perform any skill on YouTube. :pimp:

Hows the upkeep? I dont wanna do anything thats gon take more than 15mins in the morn.
Upkeep is the whole reason im cutting my hair now.

Nope no dreads.
My hairstyles for the last few years been pontytail or individual braids, or cornrows.
Takes mad long to pick and comb it out but thats pretty much all i need to do.
Went straight from a bigass fro to braids back in like 04.
All this curly **** new to me.
Somebody break it down for a playa.
 
Just go to a natural hair salon and ask for a twist out. You're welcome. You'd just have to get the sides faded or cut down unless you want to be Maxwell or that dude from the OG CSI.
