Might cop..all I want to learn is how to give myself a solid taper/fade/edge up. Hardly even will cut my hair as I'm rolling with the Duke starting 5 style :lol:

Man use a straight razor.

I used an Andis T-outliner for years to line myself. Converted to a straight razor in 2015, possibly the best life decision I've ever made. It's sooooooooooooo much easier. 

My **** used to look cool using the Andis, and that was with years of practice. Straight razor lowkey made my barber obsolete for anything that doesn't involve tapering/blending the back of the neck. 
 
That feeling u get when your barber is focused on one side of your head longer than usual.

I haven't seen my edge up pulled so far back in years. Got my **** looking like Calvin Murphy. I dont know what he was thinking. Had to let him know.

I hated that ish when my barber used to do that. He'd seriously spend 10 mins on one of my edges while lining me up.

Once I started using the sponge, I take my trimmer and line myself up especially since I've messed up enough previously to know how I want it.
 
So sick of this played out nappy top doo everyone is rocking trying to be obj. Time to let it go. Add Anthony Davis to the list and oj mayo and Wiggins joints look nasty

Man I wish I could give myself a fade. I can actually fade other peoples hair just fine. Doing it myself ...:smh:

 Was overseas , F**** around and let one of these french barbers touch my hairline , im still recovering .
 
Although I don't like seeing it everywhere, it's my favorite cut to rock right now. I'm not about the frosted tips though

At the end of the day, to each his own. I started growing my hair like 2 years ago. Always rocked a #2, waves on tsunami. For a minute I let my hair do its thing (Kravitz/Maxwell got the comparison a lot) then it was getting to gnarly. Since about Sept I started putting it up in a ponytail/bun and call it a day. Easier to deal with. Besides. Shorties love playing in it lol. Show me anyone who says otherwise & I'll show you a liar.
