Thread is def appreciated. My first couple years of high school were rough for me as far as females, but was never thirsty like some of those pics. I learned to deal with those unresponsive !#@%%% with trial and error since nobody put me on game. Took L's and bounced back. Stopped responding to those attention whoring !#@%%% and they slowly started coming back and had a breakout senior year(Got plenty yambs that year). Been good ever since.

So much truth in this post...if more guys knew the power of options and to quickly "charge" a chick thats flaking on them it would eliminate a lot of the thirst thats going on out here.

I think it's in poor taste to put people on blast on social networks unless they are harassing you in a serious way. This the #theThirst tag is trashy. Really in poor taste. Everyone looks bad. Girls look like bucket heads, the guys that do it make make me want to plot on them and get them to the point of sending scandalous pics to phone so I can hold it over their heads in the future.

Unfortunately this is the real world. I agree with everything Wise said but you are thirsty when you are starved. (yes appetite differs). But you can say play the alpha card and try not to show her any interest. But when you get one number a month.....you are super thirsty. And saying "have options" is easy. Actually acquiring options is the hard part.
There is a happy medium but for every "stop being thirsty", "he was way too thirsty" there is a "he was persistent and we have been happily together for 3 years now" or "I was persistent and eventually i got the yambs". It is what it is out there and guys are willing to go into simp overdrive and woman are sadly getting used to it/expecting it at this point. Honestly if your feeling a girl and she is feeling you....it will work out one way or another. #teamsingle. Now if i can only figure out how to approach random women.

You are right but a lot of people want an answer to this problem and there isn't one. I know I am a hypocrite when it comes to this stuff. I know a girl that really likes me and really wants to date me....and I just want to casually hook up and nothing more. I have told her this and she is "cool" with it. But then her friends still tell me how much she likes me. Then I complain about getting played out by girls i actually like and want to be exclusive with but am doing the same thing to girls that they do to me.
Just take it for what it is. Because honestly there really isn't too much you can do. Just hope your not too thirsty to turn her off and hope your not too alpha so she thinks "oh he won't even try he must not like me that much".

Usually, if a chick is serious about you calling them, they'll let you know. Most of the time, its that stern look and/ro arm grab and a "call me!" to let you know they are for real.

In situations like this you can't use logic to find out why females would give you their number if their not interested because they not even being logical
