Squeaking = damaged? Penny 1 content inside.

So I'm wearing my Penny 1 Orlandos and I notice that the left shoe is "squeaking" while I walk. I didn't think much of it until later in the day when I also noticed that my right foot was much more comfortable than my left...and now that I was paying attention, there was quite a bit more cushioning in the right forefoot than the left. Could this mean that the forefoot air unit is damaged somehow, giving me less cushion and making noise? I noticed my AJ11 ie's do it too, in both shoes...
