TIME MEANS NOTHING TO WHAT THE DEFINITION OF RE-SELLING IS. WHETHER YOU GOT THEM THIS MORNING OR 20 YEARS AGO DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT THAT IF YOU SELL IT FOR OVER RETAIL, THEN YOU HAVE PARTICIPATED IN RE-SELLING.

your focusing to much on the term "reselling" and your right, EVERYONE "resells" everything.  its how we progess.  as human beings, the only thing we dont "resell" is what we consume, and even that we have found ways to reuse.  time(do to its inherent variables) makes the rise of value justifiable.  thats my point.

Egg-Zactly.  The bubble will eventually burst and JB will, at some point, begin to see a decline in sales.  At which point, especially now with Gentry no longer with JB (the main obstacle in getting Nike Air back onto certain Jordans), they'll put it back on ONE release to get everyone back on it.  *cough cough* Banned I *cough cough*

Give em one free high and watch em keep coming back.  Sometimes this kicks game reminds me of the crack game...

you chose the wrong car to use as a comparison lol

399 enzos produced....they sold for a mil a piece.  You had to own at least 2 or 3 ferraris to qualify for the chance to own one.  Most of the people that bought actually bought just to sell

:

Same thing with the Lamborghini Reventon although much much less produced......you had to be a good customer of Lambos to be considered and those that bought, half of em were to resell.

I see what you're trying to say.......the car guy in me had to say something tho

Bottom line is there will always be resellers looking to capitalize on whatever is hot at that given time.  take ticket sales for example......I tried coppin UFC tickets to the show in Calgary in a couple months and they sold out within 15 minutes.....go to that ticket reseller site and theres plenty to buy for 2-3X retail

Anyone else notice a lot of the sellers on eBay just started selling sneakers???  You look at their feedback and their sales history is for everything and anything but sneakers????  Obviously these people have caught on to the fact that there are a lot of people willing to pay 2-3X retail to own these sneakers.

TBH Im surprised to hear anyone complaining about resellers on this release....I think it was a bit of a flop for resellers since ppl thought these would actually attain DB IV's values.  Speaking as someone who doesnt live any where near where these sold for retail, Im quite happy with the $250-$300 price tag on these considering what we've seen thus far in 2012.

Still on the hunt for a size 12 and 10.5 tho

EDIT*** My bad they did sell for $660,000.....I was thinking a mil cause thats what a lot of ppl turned around and resold em for

your not the only one who knows cars.  for all intents and purposes the difference between 399 and 400, in this case, is negligible(it is 400 btw).  it was two ferraris you had to have owned previously and original msrp(if you can call it that) WAS in the 600's.  your in canada right?  everything else you stated was also known, just wasnt necessary to state while trying to make my point.  but back to the shoes

Those look awful. I was leaning way towards the military's over these anyways but WOW. They look cheap and almost fake. Just makes me wanna cop these cavs more seeing as JB only puts effort into their limited stuff.

Pics posted in the thread for those.
Excluding the White/Red 14s.

were these really that limited? I had a really easy time getting them but I was able to do the RSVP and online and didn't have to wait inline so I guess my perception was skewed.

Yeah cause none of my stores got them.

living an hour away from NYC is not as convenient as I once thought. Everyone around here floods the 2 closest malls which only have a FTL and FNL. Employees are suspect and they end up having like 8 pairs at each store to sell. Refuse to deal with that stuff so I try my luck online. Didnt work in my favor this time.

Which stores did RSVP?

You're definitely not in a major metropolitan city.Either way, has there been an Eastbay restock of these?

I think these are one of the dumbest color 4s yet. And dumb reason for the color. If anything they shouldve released the black cement 4s.

ANYWAYS .. now that Brown has done for you, anyone noticing slight stains on the toebox? My left shoe looks kinda like someone stepped on it, the right has a tiny glue stain above the midsole. Otherwise, I love em, congrats to those that copped, good luck to those that will.
