Dudes make some of the most beautiful music to just smoke and drive to on a summer day
Thomas Mars has a beautiful voice, looking forward to their new album Wolfgang was amazing and the new stuff is supposed to be more experimental.

they're alright

I think wolfgang amadeus phoenix is the only album I have a deep dislike for.

A bunch of the songs were playing everywhere during that summer and on after and it just got annoying at some point.

eh

Lasso is my joint

Saw them at The Hollywood Bowl in 2010.  Great live band.
1901 live was amazing...goosebumps amazing..
Great box seats, NICE beer buzz and Phoneix on a late summer's night.
my seats were about halfway between the stage and where this person shot their video.

This is what I love to see, hope you enjoy g.

One of the few really good pop rock bands doing it right now. Fun music that is undeniable. Last time I saw them was 2009 with Passion Pit. I did a few hits of acid and had one of the most fun experiences of my life.

This is a really good band. I only have the Wolfgang album. Haven't checked for much since listening to that. But I like them

Had to bump this real quick to say thank you to awwsome and the rest of you guys for putting me on.
Been listening to Untitled and Wolfgang Amadeus A LOT the past week.

Too Young, Fences, Lasso are my favorite songs today but that seems to change with each play through.

Gonna let these two albums marinate for a couple more days before delving into the rest of their discography.

Can you or anybody else recommend any other good pop rock bands you like?
Idk if Foster the People are considered indie rock but I love their Torches album from last year.

Never bumped anything outside of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, which was good. I'm gonna check their other stuff thanks to this thread.

What up Ham City. Check out The Virgins. They released their debut around the time Phoenix released Wolfgang. Those were two bands had some of my favorite rock releases at that time.
