just going off the nike air tag...the chicagos are $110 no NA tag & the knicks are $140 dropping the same day w/ NA tag
im assuming these & the knicks will be the $140 & limited
not saying thats 100% true its what IM ASSUMING

so the prics indicates limited or not, im not sure if that is correct (it might be) but im thinking JB is figuring they can make extra money by just producing them with the nike air tag and charging extra thats my 2 pennies

Not sure if it's concrete or not, but a couple of local Toronto sneaker shops told me that these will be "limited" - big chain stores (Footlocker, Champs, etc) will not be getting them. I've heard from two sneaker shops that they will be getting them, however I'm waiting on my friend who's a manager at Footlocker to see if they will be getting them or not..

Yeah they were tagged as limited. Jb was trying to "think outside of the box" by releasing a black and blue shoe in February instead of white red.

So from what I know, and what I've read, Jordan never wore the royal 1s (at least to my knowledge). I thought he wore them in the all-star game, but I was wrong... Can somebody on NT school me as to what makes the royal Is so sought after other than the fact that its one of the dopest colorways period?

To my knowledge he didn't wear them on the court. He did promotional work for Nike back in 1985 with the royal 1's on. But other than that, it's just somewhat of an OG "lifestyle colorway" of the Air Jordan 1's.

Hasn't it always been this way though? In this thread I have seen so many celebs in that sneaker than I didnt even know messed with sneakers. Ever since the beginning of time people have wanted to dress like their favorite celeb. Nike and Adidas have made a killing using that to their advantage. Ask Jamaster Jay, Rev Run, and DMC. After all many of us are only buying the shoe because Jordan wore em. What's the difference between if Jordan wears em or if Frank Ocean wears them?
Then on top of all of that this iteration of the shoe is getting the Nike Air Treatment.
Expect a lot of double cops

Well wanting a Jordan because of Jordan makes sense, wanting a Jordan because Ocean wants them doesn't really make sense. Although I do concede it happens plenty
