The pair Scott has on are not the 2013 retroes. I sold him these 2001's last week to unload for the 2013's. It was an amazing 11 year run (had those since high school!) with the royals but I'm looking forward to having a fresh pair. With that said, with all this limited talk, I'm really really hoping these are not impossible to get. JB should do these classics justice (they only release them once a decade) and make them available to the masses......

Really? No more $140 even though the Knicks pair is? Wow.
Can't wait for another chance at these. I wanted them in 2001 but I was a freshman in HS at the time with a bad leg & limited spending so I opted for the true blue 3s instead(funny I'd do the same again in 2001 but in current life now I've sold my 2011 true blues & can't wait for these).
In HS you were only the man if you had the newest retro & they knew you had them first so EVERY TIME I opened my eastbay & saw both these & the grey/silver pair I kept making myself say no. So stupid I was...SO STUPID. That's how you learn & grow to make your own decisions though.
Provided these don't jump to banned 1 prices I'd be all over a 2nd pair above retail(I NEVER do that besides 5 exceptions, that's RARE for me but if these have the "great leather" they're suppose to then I'm down). We'll see.

This is exactly what I did.
I passed on the Royal Is to purchase the True Blue IIIs. The Royals actually sat until about mid-February-- they released in the fall of '01-- and I had so many opportunities to get them. Just never got around to it.
Now I want them bad.
These will be my first Jordan purchase in 3 years.
