Marvel is not going to rush to blow their load just because Sony had a go at Spidey twice. That's the kind of impatience that ruins lasting potential.

I thought killing Gwen Stacy and bring in Green Goblin in ASM2 was a stupid idea. Kill Gwen in the 3rd movie. Have Harry in 2 but don't let him become GG for awhile. Lets build that friendship and have the betrayal mean something

Honestly, yes. I don't need to see the growing pains of Spider-Man anymore. We've seen it twice already

I guess where we just disagree. I rather Marvel/Sony take the time and properly build up the franchise than to rush and get a half baked version (ie ASM). If I have to go over the same material and have to wait for the best moments and let them be GREAT. I'll wait.

I don't think it's really growing pains in the typical sense, per se

But dude is playing a teenage.. those some awkward years.. and you're trying figure a lot of things out.. I think the movie is going encompass that while trying to obviously tackle a huge burden

And like most teens you can see he thinks he knows a lot more than he really knows and doesn't think he's being taken seriously.. tony is there to kinda temper that, make sure he learns how to walk properly before trying to sprint.. and that it's a marathon not a sprint
