I was hoping they'd give Spider-Man's mask some personality the way they did Deadpool and have it move with his expressions. Looks like they're heading that way.

I feel like it comes off a lot better than these heavily expressive lines with little to no movement or expression in the face. Always just felt weird to me.

I can see why it could come off as cheesy, though. I just love how much the shape of the eyes can tell you with minimal effort.
