as long as Andrew Garfield stays quiet it's keeping my faith that something big is brewing with Sony and Marvel involving spiderman. With all the phase 3 films marvel has announced, I doubt Sony wants to release anything Spiderman related under their own studio umbrella to go up against any of those films. Sony has to get in on a piece of this money pie Marvel is about to eat....

I really like Aubrey but she'd be a better fit as one of Peter's peers in college, Debra something I think. Blond with glasses, tried to get with Pete but he ignored for Black Cat in the 90s cartoon.

The one who started dating Flash? She's like the cartoon version of Felicity Smoak from Arrow. I would like to see Aubrey Plaza in a different kind of role, more outgoing.

how would a movie about villains work out? There is no protagonist which goes against the whole premise of the genre lol.

Make it like Ocean's or make them loveable bad guys, or just do a really good job of telling their stories and motivations, or make it so they're even badder villains they go up against.

Yeah, cuz Garfield is calling the shots over at SONY on if he crosses over in to the MCU or not. He's being "quiet" right now More like he's working on other movies and waiting to stop being Spidey since he aint sign that ASM4 contract.

Yeah that one and now that you say she fits EXACTLY what Debra was on the cartoon and what she should be in any on film iteration

I don't know believable Aubrey would be as outgoing. Could be a challenge but I'm just very use to what she's good at as the quirky, broody, weird and strange type.​

Seriously Sony should just read these and try something like this. It would be a different but cool movie. Sad thing is they need to establish the characters first. Low level dudes teaming up to do big things but they keep f'ing up.​

If thry are running out of ideas, I'd have him get sent to the future at the end of the third film and start doing Spiderman Unlimited movies.

Will Gwen Stacy Be Resurrected in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3?
Movie Rumor The Amazing Spider-Man 3 Gwen Stacy by Joey Paur

We have absolutely no idea what Sony Pictures plans on doing with Spider-Man at this point. There's been so many rumors being reported by reputable sites, but we've heard no official confirmation on anything. We've heard that Spider-Man could be rebooted again with Sinister Six, that Marvel is in negotiations with Sony to bring Spider-Man into the MCU, and that they also might be thinking about making an all-female Spider-Man movie. We now have a new rumor to throw into the pot.

According to Christian Today, who have landed a few scoops in the past, the studio is looking at bringing Gwen Stacy back from the dead for The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Now even though the film was given a release date of June 10th, 2016, we don't know at this point if the studio still plans on moving forward with it.

As you know, Gwen died at the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But according to the report, the studio may be contemplating resurrecting her in the same way that Marvel comics did. In the comic storyline, there's a professor from Empire State University who was in love with Gwen, and when she died he went a little crazy. He became a villain known as The Jackal and created a clone of Gwen.

This could be just pure speculation, but with the studio toying with the idea of of an all-female Spider-verse movie, anything could happen. If they are willing to go there, I think they'd be willing to talk about bringing Gwen back to be a part of this female superhero universe.

This rumor is really out there and should be taken with a grain of salt. But if this is something that Sony is considering, do you think it's a good idea?

So first I read about an Aunt May movie and I come in here SONY is about to try and pull off the beginning of the Clone Saga? Can't let Peter mourn or the audience and are gonna bring Gwen back immediately along with creepy Miles Warren turn Jackal.

At this point I really do hope SONY does all of these movies similar to how Feige announced all the next phase movies so we can get a real laugh.

Let Chloe Moretz play the young Aunt May that's suddenly a super spy for her gov't.

Venom Or Carnage Could Be Main Villain In SPIDER-MAN - SINISTER SIX Team-Up Film


The latest emails to leak online involve Spider-Man film producer Matt Tolmach, Sony Pictures Entertainment chief Amy Pascal and Columbia Pictures president of production Michael De Luca. In it, Pascal informs De Luca that Tolmach would like to introduce Venom into the Spider-Man franchise, but doesn't think the character could support a film on his own. He would rather introduce Venom in the Sinister Six film. And that film will feature Spidey teaming up with the Sinister Six to take down an even bigger threat. Who could be more dangerous than the Sinister Six? Tolmach would like the main villain to be either Carnage or Venom. If it is the latter, Spider-Man will wear his black suit in the film. He'll remove it when he can't handle being teased about the look by members of the Sinister Six. I kid you not. And of course, whoever finds Spidey's discarded suit will then become ... VENOM!

By the way, kudos to Badass Digest for accurately reporting most of this information near the beginning of October, a week before this leaked email was produced.
