Looks like the Mustang beat Camaro in sales for the first time in 6-7 years (?). It is due to newer model of the Mustang (though it's been out for a bit now and the prospective Camaro buyers are/were waiting for the new model but credits got to be given where it's due. It's also supposedly due to Mustangs Ecoboost, a smaller turbo engine that still produces 300+ hp. Camaro will soon offer their own I4 turbo with 275 hp so we'll see if that is enough to take sales away from the Mustang.

Just bought the ecoboost a couple weeks ago... Love it.

Will be pulling the trigger on a ecoboost premium in a few months. Haven't had a car payment in a year.

Voiding that warranty right away huh?

It really makes it 800hp tho? Sick

Would like to see updates on that

That Shelby is kinda disappointing in the looks department imo. It cost to much too.

I love mustangs BTW.

Never really realized how affordable this car is

I'd take over a used M3 all day

Rented the Eco Boost for a week during a trip to SF. I own a Camaro, and I never thought I'd touch a Mustang. But I obliged to take the free upgrade. Man this car is dope, got me wanting to trade my car in. :smh:

V8>>

Buddy of mine has the GT premium fastback and that thing moves!

I would never get a V6 Stang that's just wrong

The Mustang GT gets 25mpg?? Lease can't be too bad on em.

Gonna go test drive one within the next month or two.
Somebody help me out, ecoboost vs v6. Why?
Comparing base to base, I'd cop the v6 over the ecobanger since it's cheaper and the performance between the two isn't THAT much different.

However, if you care about premium features (leather seats, upgraded audio system, blind spot monitoring, etc) then ecoboost since the v6 doesn't have a premium trim. Also, the eco has greater mod potential I assume (if you care about that type of thing)

Might have to get a lease from a third party tho. Unless things changed since I last researched the 15s, Ford wasn't offering ANY lease deals for the GTs

Really?? Why is that?

Is Camaro the same way? I don't like Camaros but that seems stupid to do that.

Idk. At the time, the lease rates for GTs were worse than financing, so just wasn't a good deal.

Shouldn't be any issues with leasing a Camaro tho. Looks like they're already rolling out the lease specials.
