Heat Vs Pacers East Semi-Finals. Good Series Folks, Now Time To Destroy Boston.

Pacers are gonna put up a fight, but I see MIA taking it in 6 . I mean, if the snake-bitten Knicks could eek out one win...

C'mon Indiana, prove me wrong! I'm gonna see about diging up my old Reggie Miller replica

Please stop with any and all comparisons to the knicks. That organization is a complete and utter joke. Never will they amount to anything.

pacers play that Chicago type ball
this gonna be a tough, grind it out series
heat in 6

What have the Pacers won...ever?

^ In their defense, they've had some NICE squads. That Malice at the Palace squad was SCARY.

Wasn't on purpose, but anyways...

That team definitely had championship potential if it weren't for that night (Ben Wallace's ol' crying self
mad.gif
). Same w/ the Finals squad a few years before that: Reggie, Perkins, Rose. Had a couple nice squads in the 90s, too; just never got past you guys and the Bulls.

gave the Pacers the biz during the season tho (Sans the game we threw away). Pacers are going to win the same amount of championships this year as the knicks.

Granger isn't proven and they're still young at a lot of positions. I think Heat take this in 5. They're size is going to give Miami problems but if the tempo is up and going i think the Heat take it easily.
I agree with all of this

I think the Pacers are a bit underrated here. Would be surprised if the Heat swept them or won in 5.

Heat fans cannot be confident after their performance against us during the series.

We were  missing our starting PG, lost our best perimeter defender, started Baron Davis and Mike Bibby, lost Baron Davis, short bench, ect. and still found a way to keep 4/5 games respectable until we ran out gas in the 4th quarter. The Knicks held the "offensive juggernaut" to 43% shooting the last 3 games of the series.

Any Heat fan that says they aren't worried is fooling themselves. Pacers are far more physical than the Knicks are.

How the hell is Granger "not proven"? This is his 7th year in the league, he's been an All-Star, was on the gold medal World Championship team a couple years ago, this is the third time he's been in the Playoffs and he always hits clutch shots for the Pacers. Seriously, I don't think barely any of you know anything at all about the NBA other than your own favorite team, the Heat, Lakers, Knicks, Thunder, Bulls and Celtics. And that's even being generous. George Hill, Daren Collison and AJ Price are better point guards at this stage of their careers than anybody the Knicks threw out there last round. I guarantee Paul George and Barbosa are going to be trouble for the Heat. Granger will be able to hold his own against Bron. Dahntay Jones is a better defender than anything the Heat saw last round besides Shumpert in the Game 1. David West and Hansbrough are both real physical players and that might cause some problems for Bosh if they get in his head. Then they have three 7 footers they can throw out there with their All-Star Roy Hibbert and Amundson and Fesenko that will all play tough interior defense.

Pacers are a good squad but I don't know if they can win more than a game. To beat the Heat, you not only have to execute in the half court but you have to put the pressure on them in crunch time. I don't really trust the Pacers in close games with Granger as their closer.

On the other hand, this squad is deep and tough enough to outright beat the Heat a couple times. They're big at all positions - have 2 legit post players and they play hard every single game. If they can keep Bron and Wade out of transition, it should be a good series. They need to steal one in Miami, though.

The heat have no true point guard, no size and a weak bench. The Pacers have the size to bother them but they can also play small and run with them. Unless Lebron and Wade are going to play all 48 minutes then I can't see them winning this series. If the Pacers show up early they get one of the first 2 in Miami it's gonna be a short series. Pacers in 6

The Pacers are the anti-Knicks in a sense. Deep at every single position, unselfish, play hard defense and will force you into a grind it out half court game. The Heat arent scared of a team like OKC that wins with 3 guys scoring just like them, this Pacers team amd the Spurs are their worst nightmare in a playoff series. Screen cap this if you want....this will be the last series that the "big 3" is together. Pacers in 6 or 7.
Will you go away if none of this comes to fruition?

No, you were right to say scary. We were coming off a year where JO was an MVP candidate, Carlisle was up for COY, Ron Ron won defensive player of the year, and Al Harrington was up for 6th man of the year. Made it to the ECF, where Detroit beat us.
You can trace all of our recent troubles all the way back to that incident. That brawl really set the franchise back years.

Edit: Ironically, this Pacer team reminds a lot of the championship Pistons teams.

Regular season =/= post season.

Enjoy your off season where you guys will be romanticizing ideas of Steve Nash and D12 wanting to be Knicks,

All I want is a good competitive series and we should get that.

Heat in 7.
Agree with all of this

This should get a bit physical. Pacers have a few hot heads led by Mr. Granger

Some of yall sleeping on the pacers. Pacers may not win but their gonna take the heat to 6 games. Maybe 7.
