LOST SEASON 6 -- 2 years later...is anyone else still mad?

I understand that.

But had they explained that to Claire and the rest maybe then they wouldn't have had to kill the doctor dude and create the whole us vs. others thing.

If I remember correctly they didn't even explain that until Sun asked.

All I'm saying is that, Ben's motivations to do the things that he did did not sense to me.

I don't remember who said to this to me before I watched Lost, but they said "Don't use logic to interpret Lost." After finishing this show, I now know exactly what they meant.

I still need to read some posts, but Ben was a cornball to me.

i stopped watching around the part where they had ben locked up in the cell and locke was guarding him

any cliffs as to what happened after that til the end?
Just read the episode summaries on wiki.

That 'can you pass the milk' scene when he was still Henry Gale is forever and not corny. Neither was when we figured out why he was keeping Alex away from her boyfriend or when Jack beat him to a pulp or any scene when he was manipulating Juliette. Yeah...

He's corny to me because he tried to be cool way too much.

I don't think that he was corny in the scenes where he's actually cool.

It's same for me with Hugo. Most of the times he's not funny. Not to mention all the ridiculous decisions he made.

When he is actually funny, I'm lmao.

Dude...commercial break.

Both these characters are hit or miss for me.

Mostly miss in my case.

I remember thinking damn this dude loves his son.

Then they showed how he didn't even think that he wanted to keep custody of Walt.

@ Walt being the only one to stay off the island for good when he was the first one who wanted to stay.

regardless of how uninformative the finale was, it was a part of my life and glad that i watched some art.

pretty much, I didn't like the finale.. but I took it for what it was. of course there were hundreds of unanswered questions.. but i sort of knew they weren't going to answer them when 6 started. the ride getting there was all that mattered to me. :pimp: lost

Desmond Calls Penny... One of the best scenes in the entire series.

Darn near brings me to tears... still

The show was a complete let down. Most of the interest of the show was the mystery and the fact that half of the answers were not revealed was troubling. Then season 6 was just terrible. I could rant all day about the show. The first 4-5 seasons were good but endings are key to me and it failed.

Benjamin Linus is the one of greatest villain of all time though.

3rd time watching this show and still doesnt get season 5 with the time travel stuff..

how come when danielles group found jin in the ocean.. and actually traveled thru the jungle with him..

how come danielle when first seeing jin in the first season when they all saw each other, didnt even recognize him?

but right when charlotte was about to die, she remembered seeing farraday when she was a kid?

I thought that Ben was a cornball.

Wow, Ben never tried to be cool. When describing the character cool wouldn't even be mentioned.

More like missing the entire point of the character.

My memory isn't as good cuz it's been years. Tell me the name of the eps you're referring to in S5 and I think I can explain that.

 I got or at least I thought I had the entire show on my computer and I just realized I don't have S6

I'll watch the ep and get back to you but damn S6 was so bad to me I didn't even bother to get it and it's almost like I erased it from my mind given that I didn't complete the collection.

episode 5 this place is death.
Oh okay I remember now 10 minutes in. You're talking about Russo. The crazy broad.

Yeah there was plenty of arguments about the writer's slipping on that but the conclusion most came to is that Russo was on the island for so long that she went insane. Keep in mind the day she met Jin was the day she lost her man and later killed the rest of her team for being "sick", it was a traumatizing event. As you know when we first meet her she's crazy. She almost got Claire killed, if I recall right she even took her baby cuz she was out of it. So we chalked up her not recognizing Jin or not mentioning she met him before to her being crazy (when I say we I'm going back to when I was on the LOST message boards).

Not at all the smoothest explanation but she was pretty crazy and it wasn't as huge of a plot hole given how the rest of the time travel stuff managed to fit and flow well for the most part.

Cuz think of it like this why didn't Ben immediately kill Sayid when he had the upper hand? He shot him as a kid. 1st time Ben ever got shot you'd think he remember but then the writer's patch that up with rejuvenating waters of the island or w/e will make him forget the whole incident.
