LOST SEASON 6 -- 2 years later...is anyone else still mad?

Some people just don't understand how great this show truly was.

I got my boy to watch it after the show had ended, and the fool had the audacity to skip episodes while he was going through the seasons.
 
After watching Prometheus, I gotta wonder...is everything Lindelof does from here on out just gonna remind people of how much the hated the Lost finale?

I re-watched the entire show a couple of weeks ago and I still don't get why people are mad at the ending. I don't think the writers had any idea how to explain the things that they left unexplained, because they didn't come up those ideas themself. I feel that they hinted and said outright several times during the show that they were all dead or in purgatory.
 
After watching the finale all interest I had in this show disappeared and I immediately felt like I had completely wasted all my time trying to figure out island mysteries that they clearly didn't care to explain.

I'm still mad, and although this was at one point my favorite show, now I consistently recommend that people don't start watching it...

All those hours/days/weeks/months/years spent analyzing theories, reading wikis and discussing them in forums all for that bull crap of an ending?

  The creators of that show were like the judges of that Pac/Bradley fight.  The hell was the point in watching when the ending/result didn't make any damn sense.

At first when the finale aired I was mad, but then I thought about it and there was no way to end it that would make everyone satisfied. Going into the finale, I personally didn't know what to expect and how it should end, and from talking to other fans they felt the same. Once they got to the second to last episode I knew they weren't really going to explain much because they didn't have enough time basically gave up at that point that anything was going to make sense.
 
It isn't just the final episode. It's the ENTIRE season. They just kept stretching crap and having filler. You knew it was all messed up and a disaster and given up hope when they did the origin of jacob and MIB episode

Yeah, it was really frustrating. The first two seasons were some of the best tv I've ever seen - it had suspense and intrigue and beautiful twists.

The end was just a shambles. They had no idea where they were going and it showed.
 
Gone through seasons 1-5 since I've been home from school. About to start season 6 right now. IMO, the finale of season 5 was dope. Nothing will compare to the first two seasons though. I missed when they were just on the beach trying to get off. They should have left it at that

More specifically the tool of flashbacks and flash forwards were greatly used seasons 1-5. In S6 they were flashing to a completely different situation unrelated to what was going on in the main story. That was then revealed to be them in purgatory struggling to realize they were already dead and moving on together.
 
Yes, I'm still mad. I have Seasons 1-5 on DVD and have no interest of ever re-watching any of it because of the way the show ended.
 
i watched the whole thing in about 2months...... I was sooooooo pissed at the ending...

i never watched a show with such intrigue... the first 3-4 seasons were instant classics.... *@$ happened at the end is an atrocity to all fans of the show

This is false.

Everything that happened on the island, really happened. They really left and they really came back. The flashes into a new world we see during season 6 is the space they created for theirselves. That's where they went after they eventually died. But everything else, really happened.
