My friend got some Black Cement 3s from TCC and they look very shady The Elephant Print and Stiching are horrible but I don't how can someone that claims to have connections with Nike and Jordan Brand be selling Fakes.  He have a lot of samples and even have an interview in his channel to Tinker Hatfield and got some sneakers signed by Ray Allen himself. But I still don't Trust Him and I would prefer to miss a release than to test my luck with him.

Maybe so but the ones I have seen on the Internet that people have shown comparisons are def fake. No doubt about it. They can be sewn crooked or whatever and be B grade but the paint looks like the pic I posted, it's easy to spot the fake.

Seriously man I have read multiple threads and you are on all of them saying they are legit. I haven't read any other people saying they are great like you. There are people all over the Internet posting and taking the time to make videos with side by side comparisons so you need to do some research. I'm glad you had a good experience but everyone else wasn't so lucky and that's obvious from a simple google or YouTube search.

Oh... And those are fake. So enjoy those kicks you are buying man bc as long as you like them nothing else matters.
 
B-Grades are sold at authorized Nike stores, ie-outlets.

B-Grade - 100% authentic Nike product that didn't make the A-Grade, because of some minor flaw. Some B-Grades might not even be B-Grades. For example last year a lot of the Nike outlets received Raptor 7s. These Raptors were sent back to Nike from major chain retailers such as footlocker, finishline and etc. Once the product was back in Nikes hands they stamped them B-Grade before they shipped them back for sale at Nike outlets. The outlets that are restocking Olympic 7s next month will be stamped B-Grade, but from what I hear aren't necessarily B-Grades, but retail shoes sold in retail store, returned to Nike who stamped them B-Grade before sending them back out to outlets to sale.

It's cause the shoes and boxes are made in different factories. The shoes usually get made first, boxes come later down the line. I remember when the cement 3's dropped early sites were shipping in regular Jordan boxes. Then I think EL store or Marqueesole got a hold of the real box with the cement print. Well I agree that they may get stock from multiple sources. The two pair I saw that I'm sure are fake appear not to be made with the same paint Nike uses for their Cement 4 midsole though. Maybe all the other parts used are unauthorized parts taken from Nike and used or whatever you were saying. Fact is this though, the shoes people have gotten from this place in terms of quality are all over the place. Why would you trust that even a good looking pair is legit from there? Why even chance buying at all? Bottom line, I want some retro cement 4's but if i gotta get them from MentalKicks I think I'm gonna pass.

I guess I just don't understand the loyalty. Maybe it's his site or someone he knows personally.
 
This hobby has gotten filled with so many non educated "enthusiasts" who can't even tell a fake from a B grade.

A lot of ya'll fools go off of what he says or she says so you wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless someone told you "ayo these are from mental kicks" or "Yo, I copped these from NDC"


Half of the cats on youtube, twitter, facebook, and NT/ISS probably have a pair of these "fakes" in their closet and don't even know because they were resold to them.


A B grade has flaws that quality control has deemed not suitable for retail distribution. Just because you got a pair with an offset jumpman, that does not make them fake in all situations. Or just because your toebox has creases, that does not make them fake.

A completely wrong shade of red or completely wrong shaped shoe is a fake. Also, shoes with completely off materials and color ways, and also sneakers with mixed materials from different models are fakes. (ie. A Pair of Jordan XIII's with a patent leather toebox)

A shoe made in the same factory, by the same workers, with the same materials is NOT a fake just because it was made during non Nike clocked hours...

If a dude at subway made you a sandwich IN SUBWAY after they closed with all of subways ingredients, its still a ******g Subway sandwich.

Some of you lack common knowledge and sense when it comes to these sneakers. Over thinking and over exaggerating situations just because you want you pairs to be justified because you stood in line.

I'm not sitting here saying Air Randy ain't fake, or Marquee sole is pushing out legit kicks, cause I haven't used either. But I'm just saying, a lot of people online and offline are parading around claiming to be "sneakerheads" or whatever titles the subscribe to and don't know diddly **** about sneakers.

and its already been established that wc4s never had a beige midsole. It should be as white as the leather uppers. So we all agree that those materials were shady as hell

If thats the case on the IV's then yeah, I'd be a fool to argue those as not being suspect.

I know for a fact that I wouldn't cop a pair of shoes that were the wrong color.
 
If you're gonna buy fakes at least buy them from the sites that charge like $75 shipped for a bred IV.  That way you don't have to e-mail stalk people down in Hong Kong or China when you get ripped off.  Paying a huge mark up for potential garbage is not worth it IMO.  The only exception should be if your desperate for the attention, have tons of $$ to blow, need to have them pre-release and you're gonna beat them up and toss them out in a year, go for it.  You can fool the masses but sneakerheads will know they're probably fake/b grade/unauthorized.

The people on here that don't know are learning from reading these threads about what's real and what's not. Not everyone has been around as long as we have. I learned about fakes from reading and asking questions on NT like 8 years ago so I won't knock anyone on here that doesn't know what's up.

Buuuut...people do need to chill on the B grade talk. B grades say so right on them or the box. If they don't look right and they don't have the B then they are fake.

Every time you knowingly buy a fake shoe you should know you are supporting those bootleg shoe producers.

i copped a pair of barkley posite max from house of hoops last week and my size 10 box was HUGE compared to my other size 10 kicks

i suppose with that logic mine are fake as well right? da search for da smoking gun continues...

True. But back when we first got into it everyone wasn't parading around accusing others of having fakes. Its like cats nowadays are arrogant about having sneakers.

I've clicked on countless youtube video's and seen instagram pictures of kicks and seen comments with fools talkin' bout some "Hey man, I don't know if you knew but your shoes are fake"

:lol: Like, really? A real head knows authentic kicks when they see them and it just seems like everyone thinks that just because they got a few pickups this past christmas they're a cultured enthusiast of the culture. And I know, its not that deep, but its crazy wild to read how arrogant some people are when it comes to "calling" out fakes and trying to act like they know whats good.

I think its great that there are some cats who are on the message boards trying to learn about the kicks, whether they just started copping kicks, or have been doing it for ages. Thats what NT is all about, bringing all the hobby heads together to talk kicks. To the dudes who are just starting out, salute. Get your kicks and enjoy them, but don't let a hobby go to your heads. Cause there's some cats who copped breds, "he got games" (cotdamn I hate that nickname), and this past white/cement 3 (I refuse to call them "88's" because the only 88 III's there are imo are the OG's from 88) who think that just because they got the latest footlocker releases, they have some sort of seniority over others and think they can cal em out.

A lot of people need to do their homework and watch from the sidelines before they jump out there and accuse another man of what he has or what he's paid for.

But that little rant in itself doesn't really relate completely to this topic.

How are you gonna argue the different toebox quality at 8:00. What would you say about at 10:30 when the twenty twelve stamp on the mentallyretardedkicks pair IS GOING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION LOLOLOL of the legit pair? At 12:53 look how SLOPPY AS HELL the cut is of the entire damned shoe. **** is laughable. 270 bucks what a joke. And the best part, oh man this is hilarious....HOW ABOUT AT 15:21...oh god...look at that mentalkicks pair rockin like a rocking chair. The damn shoe can't even sit straight.
