What lies have panhandlers told you? Do you still give them money? Whats the most you give them?

I do give money normally

But this one time I'm walking down the street near a Burger King was feeling extra generous.. He begged for money. I said "look we'll walk to Burger King and I'll buy you whatever you want on the menu. No matter what it is, multiple meals too" He thought for a second, and said "how about McDonald's?" I said $%%% You, walked into Burger King ordered a burger, and ate it outside in front of him..

The homeless in San Francisco are ruthless. They don't even ask for money, they DEMAND it.

If someone asks me politely, I am more than likely to give them a few dollars if they look like they need it.

But there is nothing that bugs me more than ENTITLED bums! I pay them no mind.

Every time I'm in Soho this happens to me. I always try to take the cd and keep it moving. They be like you gotta pay and I'm like this aint free son?

Damn that's coldblooded. Was there at least a McD's near by? I would've said the same thing though, I don't like Burger King much either.

But it is strange he's begging near a BK when he prefers McD.

Those cd "up and coming" rappers are comedy

If I rarely buy established artists CDs why would I buy a nobody's cd. I usually tell em to freestyle so I can see if their cd is worth considering purchasing.

Almost a 2 mile walk to the next one.. It may have been Cold Blooded on my part.. But if you're homeless, and hungry.. Take whatever food you're offered...

I don't even like BK either

I rarely see any homeless people around my way but I never give them money. They're always camped out infront of the grocery store so I buy them a sandwich or some other food instead. I don't know what a homeless person is gonna do with my money, for all I know I could be fueling someone's alcohol addiction. They've always been very grateful when I give them food.

I was in the city on the way to happy hour to get wasted with my friends. This lady approached me with her sad story saying she just had heart surgery and lost her job, blah blah blah. I gave her a few singles I had in my wallet. Then after took out a bunch of cash at the atm nearby to pay for my night of getting wasted.

If he was black he would get none of the support he's getting at the moment on YouTube. The nicer comments would be get a job and lazy ****** go back to Africa.

On topic, I just look at homeless people with the "don't even ask face" and they don't bother me.

Usually keep it moving, but will give if compelled to or if there's a kid. If there's children involved I don't really care if it's false, whatever I can to help them.

MANN i really got got by panhandler a few years back. i live in Arizona, moms and i where about to move from Sierra Vista to Tucson. We took a trip up to Tucson to look at some apartments. While up there we stop at a burger king for lunch, as we're leaving the restaurant this man in wheelchair comes up to us asking for some money because he needed groceries. Think i gave the guy 2 or 3 dollars. Not one to give money to panhandlers but dude was in wheelchair and he looked rough. Fast forward 6 months or so, living in Tucson, I go to this store called Bookmans, as I'm walking to the entrance I see the same guy from bk (which is a few miles on the other side of town), and this mofo is STANDING and WALKING on his own two feet, no wheelchair in sight. I was heated when i saw him. What made me even more mad is that he asked if i had any spare change. With an attitude i said "no, i ain't got no change!" he didn't even recognize me but i damn well recognized him.

another one

i live in phoenix now, few months ago my car was getting fixed so i had to use the bus, had an all day bus pass. few hours go by car gets fixed, take the bus to go pick it up.

pick up my car and stop off at a walmart to pick up some stuff. as I'm walking through the parking lot a guy comes up asking for some change for the bus. i laugh to myself, turn around with a big smile and tell him "you re in luck, because i actually have an all day pass that's still good for today, you can have it!" the look on this guy face when i handed him the bus pass was priceless. had that confused " why you give me this when i asked for that" look on his face. i knew damn well he just wanted some money. came out walmart and dude was still asking people for change.

You dont have to be in a wheelchair for life fam. You can heal lol

Funny you say that. I was the 96th street exit on the FDR drive, and this guy actually was going car to car showing his veteran id card and it was legit. But it caught me off guard so i said no, but i shouldve helped out even if its a couple quarters i got for the meter.
