Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

In the next few episodes Walter Jr. will die from a overdose of blue meth that him and Luis used together , and Hank will finally get the DEA to open up the fring case again. The evidence showing that Walt was in fact Heisenberg, the death of Walt Jr., and Skyler's suicide are more than enough to start the manhunt for Walt but before the DEA gets to him he's able to get away with help from Saul's "guy" . After Walt is relocated Jane Kaczmarek makes a quick cameo and then the show ends
I hope the cameo part is right based on this pic

. That would be dope.

To be honest, Walt Jr. dying wouldn't really affect the audience but rather just move the story along. Mike dying resonated with the audience, Jesse dying would cause a huge reaction from fans, hell even Skyler would generation a great reaction (mostly positive). But Walt Jr. has done little on the show to make him that important of a character.. his death would only reflect on Walt or Skyler, rather than be important for losing him as a character. It would be interesting because Walt's son would die, rather than "oh my god, Walt Jr. is gone"

nah walt jr is like us as an audience he doesnt really exist but his presence is still felt i.e spazzin on skylar like a lot us of wish we could

How is that "crazy" or even subtle foreshadowing? I love Breaking Bad but some people gush over anything about it, and it's starting to trigger my natural desire to play devil's advocate.
i was referring to the post i quoted, not the instance i pointed out. i wouldn't call appreciating a little foreshadowing "gushing" either, but feel free to play devil's advocate to your heart's desire my friend.

Hank probably tells her about Walt and she goes off on him or does something to compromise him

I watched the first episode from last year with the Walt  FF, then cut to the FF for this year. Up to now or whenever he's in that diner, we know he keeps the money when the waitress tells him he gets free breakfast. He insists on paying and she says "I'd like free, even if I was rich". He then proceeds to leave her a $100 tip under the plate. Then he goes to the house. Also, watch the titles of each episode they like to play with that for clues also, but I figure I'm late to posting that fact as I know y'all already figured that out.

Less than an hour :smokin

I don't want to have my expectations so high very week with the fear of disappointment, but by getting the Walt/Hank connotation out of the way so early the writers could do so many things.

i want to say it's implied that 100 dollar bill was the last of his money?
nah, I don't think so. If it was it means he finally feels guilty for what he's done, which is still possible but too early to tell. It depends on what he has lost since being found out Guess we gotta watch. I'm not even home now and will miss it when it's on so I'm gonna stay outta here until later

That's crazy talk.
I mean, his character brought nothing to the show.. If he never existed the show would turn out the same.
Unless the writers kill him
:nerd:

That's crazy talk.
What good does Walter Jr add in these final episodes?

I personally want to see how he reacts to finding out the truth about the Walt, and how it affects Walt. Will Walt try to justify his actions? Will Jr. forgive him?

That's pretty much foreshadowing 101. More subtle would have been if they didn't have Jane say anything, but just kept it about keeping baby Holly on her side. But in any good literature, film, TV, you can pretty much assume everything has a reason for being there. Especially on a show like this, either it's moving the plot forward, revealing something about the characters, or making a point that might not be as obvious at the moment, but it's going to have some purpose for being there.

Having said that, some things people

at are just common things writers do on any show.
That's exactly my point, it's foreshadowing 101. Not worth getting all bent out of shape about.

"Tread Lightly" :pimp: sounds better each time

& that subtle but clear change from Walt to Heisenberg right in the middle of the convo with hank Is dope
