Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

It'll be interesting to see how it ends for the "minor" players in this Todd, Lydia, etc. They aren't necessarily playing chess like Walk or Hank, more like checkers.

In my opinion you would be signing your own death certificate by running off with Walt's money. Dude has killed for less (Mike). Basically his dying wish is that his family lives on and benefits from all of his sacrifices (morals, time, effort, etc.) as he told Skylar. Y'all are tripping. Of course tweedle dee and tweedle dumb took some money and Walt knows that which is why he said "close enough". Who wouldn't? Walt had no time to count or weigh it.

I feel like my calls are gonna be right. Should've put some money on it. :smh:

I mean, realistically, what could Walt do? All his money is gone. He turned his back on Lydia, so whatever strings she has I doubt she would pull them for him. Only thing he could offer her is coming back to cook, and with Hank on his ***, I doubt he does that. The Aryans have no ties or loyalty to him, they were just murder for hire guys. Walt couldn't do a damn thing.

 @ thinking Walt needs Lydia to kill ppl. As if he ever needed her for anything other than business.

Tell me about this new show y'all been watching with this Walt lookalike (Seinfeld? Malcolm in the Middle?)

Yall must've forgot. What Lydia agreed to is nothing Walt hasn't already orchestrated himself before. Todd and his uncle's crew are the ones that did something.

Lydia is very white collar, she'll plan and pay for the hit but won't get her hands dirty. She didn't even wanna look at the carnage she helped cause with Todd and the Aryans.

Walt on the other hand will get it in on both sides of the spectrum. He'll orchestrate a hit and if there is someone extraneous that gets involved he'll finish them himself. I gotta laugh at dudes who would seriously consider taking his money, he has no remorse left in his heart except for his family which is the only reason Hank is still living.

what if hank wasnt family, just a close family friend or maybe just marie's boyfriend, but still asac with the dea.  do u think walt would have him murdered?  this would be his first murder of law enforcement, and relatively innocent kill by his hand.

I think he would have killed him right there in the garage if he wasn't fam. Walt has been and will be all about self preservation until he is no more. From the beginning with Grey Matter he wanted to create something powerful in his name that he could pass on to his children. His background as a chemist also shines through with his ability to problem solve in his real world transgressions. Factor in the cancer, all the dirt he has already done and the money he has made. You have a man willing to do anything to protect what he has built.

Also Hank and Marie are the only ones close to the DEA that know about Walt, if they both got killed the DEA wouldn't even suspect Walt.

My theory:

- Something that helps Hank comes out of the interrogation w/ Jesse

- Jesse has another breakdown, this time going back home to tell his parents he's changed his life

- Lydia, essentially the new Heisenberg, wants to get rid of Jesse/Walt to cover her own tracks

- She sends Todd to kill Jesse at his home, but accidentally kills his little brother

- His parents hate him 10x more, realizing nothing ever changed

- Jesse has his worst breakdown yet, joining Hank and vowing to get rid of Walt because he ruined his life. They begin by killing Todd's a**

- Meanwhile, Walt is forced to expose everything to his family, including Walt Jr., so that they can use the vacuum repair man to dissapear, but before Walt can put everything in place, his family is kidnapped/presumed dead by Lydia's people

- Over the course of a year, Walt degrades even further into a ruthless man, pent on taking back his Name and his Empire

- Meanwhile, Jesse is so far deep in depression, he eventually makes a deal with Hank to take the fall as Heisenberg and make Hank a hero

- When Walt finds out Jesse is taking the credit as Heisenberg, he plots to kill both him and Hank as a last resort

- Flash forward, Walt came back for the Ricin so that he can take it right before he walks into the police station, and kills both Hank and Jesse

- Before doing so, Walt goes to Lydia's, poisons her also, and the final scene ends with Walt cocking his gun, while Lydia lies dead on the floor of her home and her daughter comes in to find her

As I was writing this, it made less and less sense to me because there's way too many loose ends, but what the hell.

This show is f***** awesome!

I go over it in my head over and over. I don't have an inkling what the Ricin is for. Why he had that, when he had guns in his trunk. Can't tell if Jesse wants to fight, or just wants it to end. Or why Hank held back. Or why Lydia/Todd matter.

So, I came up with this......

Jesse and Hank will compare some notes, but they won't do it to take down Walt. Walt is dying anyways from Cancer.

Hank is going to bring in Jesse, and both of them will team up with Walt, to take down Lydia and the Todd "cartel"

At that point, the blue business is over. No more meth will be made in that area outside of the tweaker small business stuff. The major drug ring(s) will be finished.

I think that is why Walt left for a while, and is now back, with guns, to join in the war. Maybe the ricin is for Lydia, she obviously isn't out there with guns blazing, as seen by her hiding when the gunfight went down. Now, she told Walt in ep 1 that he was "putting her in a box" and then in ep 2 she goes down into a box/bunker. But the box can still be a coffin, when he plants a cigarette in her pack (somehow) before the shooting starts.

Walt will be killed, Hank will live and save face as he ended all drug trafficking in New Mexico, and Jesse will ride off into the sunset. Lydia dead, Todd dead, and Todd's uncle and crew all dead.

Hank and Marie, Skylar and the kids, all live on with Walt's money, which he will provide the coordinates to Skylar before the final showdown.

This is the best I can come up with. We'll see how I do.

Ricin is either for Walt himself or Jesse nobody else. It has been a recurring theme and dynamic between Walt and Jesse for too long to not be one of them

Skylar going to Hank immediately rustled my jimmies.

First she had Ted gut her out and now running off to Hank when all he has are suspicions. :smh:

Jessie & Hank won't be working together. At most, Jessie will maybe give up a few details.

I'm again wondering how Jesse will get out of jail time with all those millions in dirty money he threw around that obviously have his prints on them

what if hank wasnt family, just a close family friend or maybe just marie's boyfriend, but still asac with the dea.  do u think walt would have him murdered?  this would be his first murder of law enforcement, and relatively innocent kill by his hand.
I think Gus would've had Hank killed in that scenario. Put a scare in Walt and gets rid of a problem. I think he'd poison him the same way he had one of twins murdered after the shootout.
