Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

The confession is in my top 3 scenes of the series. Right there with Walt laughing in crawling space and Hank on the toilet.

That confession seen left me speechless. It could have honestly convince me that Hank was the mastermind behind it all if I didn't know what I knew from having seen all of Walt's actions. Tonight's episode was amazing (and we're only 3 episodes into the season). Not that many shows can do that with just dialogue alone since there was hardly any action until the last few minutes! :smokin

Walt's confessions was one of the GOAT scumbag moves in all of television. Right up there with Vic Mackey's confession in the Shield

Walt wins on content, Vic wins on context

Anyone notice the painting in the confession scene?

3 old west Cowboys. Kind of like that song we're theorizing. :nerd:

What song?

I think...somehow Todd gets murked (Jessie?) and then that causes his crew to want/force Walt to cook since Todd got killed. Which forces Todds crew to do whatever it takes to make walt cook (kills walts family). Which causes Walt to go gusto.

But that mexican painting, Scarface relation, etc....man.

Greatest show in history. Hands down. Regardless of ending because we all know it'll be epic.

It'll either be GOAT or WTF JUST HAPPENED ending. No in between.

I can't shake the idea of those 2 neo Nazi's that Todd's choppin' up with are narcs.

It'd be a predictable dead obvious cop-out by Vince and co., but I can't get the thought out my head with the camerawork and the acting in this scene.

Hmmmmm. I wonder if those are his uncle's boys. Cause if they are they can't be narcs cause they helped get all those witnesses killed. But this would be a wild plot twist but they would take the case right away from Hank and I don't see that happening.

Oh man...that last ten minutes damn near gave me a heart attack. I can't take much more of this.

Also, probably late on this, but i noticed another FNL alum on the show

Herc!

Felina.

I rewatched the pick pocket. You can't "see" it because both have black jackets on, but you can hear it. It's why he says "scuuuuse me" to cover the sound, then he looks at Saul who nods.

Really well done.

Vince Gilligan and these writers :pimp:hat

I knew Jesse was going to find out about the poisoning as soon as Huell was the one who was gonna drop him off BUT I thought Huell would just be an idiot and let it slip on his own. I didn't think he was gonna find out like this!

And FYI, this was NOT a sudden revelation by Jesse out of the blue, it only confirmed his previous suspicion. If you go back to S4 "End Times" when Jesse confronts Walt and points the gun at his head, he exposed Walt's plan to take the cigarette...that was his gut instinct until Walt talked him out of it at the last second.

I'm sure those sentences weren't played back to back in a conversation but how they cut it they deliberately made it sound like the same conversation.

PS. Am I the only one who thinks Walt's cancer didn't come back? Yeah he threw up and he "passed out" but IDK the hair in the future, the way he uses that fact to manipulate people (Hank, Walt Jr) I just think he's buying time to think of a better escape plan cause he knows Hank won't quit but he won't kill him.
The talk with Jr of it being a small shadow gave me mad hope but I dunno if he's softballing it for his son which is natural even if you don't count the manipulation angle.

It's be one helluva a mind**** if Walt is even manipulating the viewer with the cancer is back talk. This aint like when he first got it where his whole family came to hear the prognosis and then later the results from the doc in person. Walt's back on his own with that since that's become the new normal. It'd be crazy if he's been laying the seeds for that to be his final escape plan.

I could just imagine some Usual Suspects revelation scene where we find out he wasn't vomiting when he found out the book was gone and switched his chemo iv but all that's a huge reach now.

That's DEEP undercover narcing if they're willing to set up prison hits on some The Departed steez.

I will say that open must've meant something other than just checking in with Todd. When his uncle cleaned some of that blood off his boot in the bathroom it made me think they had killed the waitress. Guess that was just them coming right from killing all those dudes in the dessert.

Aaron Paul locked up his Emmy submission episode with this one man. He probably gave his all time best performance tonight.

wow what? jesse pinkman's character is getting really hypocritical and annoying. they gave the character a suitable name because jesse really is a pink man :smh:

I feel ya. not really fond of his character either, but I think dude just dug his own grave by what seems to be burning down walt's house.
good riddance imo

also, maybe the house burns down and walt and his family fake their deaths... that would explain his new identity and why his neighbor acts like she saw a ghost in that season opener. maybe walt leaves then comes back for revenge against jesse... idk
