Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

Jesse has always been against using kids in any part of the game though...it makes perfect sense that this would put him over the edge.

Do you not remember how mad he was when he found out that Tomas was being used as a dealer? He was nearly pushed over the edge back then and now, you include Mike's murder along with Brock's poisoning, it's understandable why Jesse has reached his limit on Walt.

It's not about the kid "only" being poisoned and still living, it's the principle of it. Jesse has always wanted innocent people, particularly kids, to be left out of their doings and he THOUGHT that Walt knew too.

Keep in mind how many times these two have clashed over the years. It has NOT been a happy relationship, there is plenty of other hatred/frustration on Walt that Jesse has built up. Now that he finally knows how much of a liar Walt is, all that anger is finally let out.

A few things that could have made this episode better

1- everything about the shoot out was terrible except for the set up and idea which was great.
2-Walt should have brought Jane up after he got spit on. I was waaaaaiting for it
3- Jessie didn't sound right when he was on the phone with Walt. Bad sound quality. Minor complaint but it took me out of the moment.
4- did I mention that the shoot out was terrible?

The flash forward made me know that there was no way in hell Walt was getting arrested. So that took some of the edge away... But at the same time since I knew there was no way he gets arrested I kept sitting up and waiting for the gang to show up. And every moment that passed got more tense because I knew they were coming. So it's pretty much a wash.

It was a very good episode. Tricking huell was great. Getting Walt to dry snitch on himself was excellent and I could not see that coming. That was actually brilliant.

The show is ending at the perfect time. You can see how hard it is to end a show with high expectations.

1. To each his own.
2. There's still time for Walt to bring it up.
3. I think they purposely did that to show that Hank was telling Jesse what to say on the phone. Even in his speech, you could tell it wasn't the natural Jesse. It's like Hank was in his ear telling him what to say (e.g. the use of Walt instead of Mr. White, vocabulary that is very similar to what Hank would use, etc).
4. To each his own.

I can agree with you on the flash forward though. As soon as he was handcuffed, I just knew the Aryans were coming. The beauty of it is, even though we know, we still don't know what to expect or how it plays out. I was still intrigued and entertained.

I'm still really in awe of the scene when Walt is taken in handcuffs. Something about Jesse looks, I don't know the word for it.....sad? Stunned? Scared? Sorry?

For a second, I thought Jesse was going to do something to break Walt free. (which would have been wild if he actually helped Walt get free of Hank and Gomie)

Even when he spit on him, I thought something was up. It just looked like Jesse wanted to help Walt.

And then 3 minutes later, Walt is screaming for Hank to alert him the hired guns were there. That completely caught me off guard.

Walt and Jesse, even all the bad **** they've done, toe the line when it comes to those closest to them, still at least appear to be sensible enough not to harm them intentionally. Really, really well written and acted. Such an epic moment, just one of many so far on this show.

I guess you and I read facial expressions and body language a lot different. Jesse had a **** eating grin on his face the entire time. I want to see Jesse get a bullet right between the eyes in the opening scene, but would settle for him getting executed.

Anybody peep the cast for this weeks episode on IMBD?
I know it has been brought up that IMBD usually list actors ,who have previously played on the show, on episodes they aren't really in.
Although a week before To'hajiilee premiered I took a look at the list and it was accurate.

I would be very disspointed if Heisenberg doesnt come out on top at the end of this show.  He has been on top in each seasons end - it better not be different now.

I feel like Walt is gonna be the only one left. Hank, Gomez, Jesse, Aryans, Todd, Lydia, Skyler, Walt jr, the baby, Marie, Saul, Huell DEAD. Everything Walt touches dies. EVERYTHING. The show ends with Walt miserable with all his money in Alaska.

"Whatever you think's supposed to happen...the exact reverse opposite of that is going to happen."
