Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

I'm probably alone in this, but does anybody else just constantly think about this?

I mean goddamn all day at work i had semi-anxiety about what was gonna happen to Walt and hoping marie and Jessie would die already

Again I'm probably alone in this.

youre not alone :wow:

You guys that keep saying Walt did all this for his family are just as deluded as he is lol. Walt did it for Heisenberg. That's it. Working for his family is the lie Walt told himself to justify everything. This was all about his ego and greed. He said he'd stop after he got $700k, kept going. Could've found a way to get out after his cancer went into remission, didn't. Could've let Hank keep thinking Gale was Heisenberg, ego wouldn't allow it. Hell if he was worried about providing for his family, he could have taken that high paying, token gig with Grey Matter. If he were truly "sacrificing" for their collective future after his demise, he'd have sacrificed his pride.

As for Jesse, you guys act like he got pinched and decided to snitch on Walt to save himself. He didn't cut a deal with Hank, he snitched solely because wanted to see WW go down and seemed prepared to deal with the consequences. I honestly don't blame him. WW ruined his life. Repeatedly. I won't disagree that Jesse's self-destructive nature didn't help things, but every time he had the opportunity to go down the morally "right" road, WW manipulated him or the things around him to get JP to go along with whatever he had going on. They have some sort of dysfunctional loyalty towards one another (until recently at least) but JP is more of a battered wife than Skyler is (psychologically, of course).

If Walt's going to be killed it only makes sense for it to be Jesse at this point. Nobody else "deserves" to. Hank's gone and he's "protected" Skyler and the kids. Marie maybe but I'm sure Gilligan knows EVERYBODY would hate that.

Since the scene were Walt goes back to his trashed house and opens his truck I felt that he was going to use all those weapons against the nazi dudes. The is no other threat he has that would warrant that many weapons. The ricin will be used for Lydia before he clears out the nazi's. Since Walt never showed up to cook as was part of the deal, Jessie will still be alive since he is the only cook that can get the meth as close as possible to Walt's (and blue). They would also be the ones that trashed the house while looking for Walt. Walt will be looking around for his money when he opens a door and finds Jessie locked up. He will walk up to Jessie, who will be sitting down, not say a word and the camera will then change to Jessie's perspective. You see Walt take out a gun point at Jessie/towards you because of the angle, screen goes black and you hear a bang. End of series.

no
What do you mean "no"?

Everything he said was correct

What if walt discovers jesse and he does a little two-face from batman action and flips a coin to see who will take the ricin since they both don't have anything to live for anyway.

Shoot, I even feel like this whole Nazis thing has been rushed. They've only recently begun to build real conflict between them and Walt....how could the entire ending of the show be focused around that? Kinda dissapointing....

completely agree with that.....if jesse actually got away it would have made for a much more interesting final 2 eps

however the show ends im gonna have to say this is the GOAT

QFT

can someone explain the photo of Walt's reflection on the Chrysler with the bullethole? is it because one of the reflections looks like Walt has his brains blown out?

Exactly. The bullet hole is straight through his forehead.

I don't know if I want to start BB over or start The Wire since you all say it's good. Suggestions?

ILLest!

Go with The Wire, man. You won't regret it and it'll allow you to make a honest comparison to BB.

Am I the only one who thinks this guy needs to get killed?
700

^

I would break my TV if it ended like that.

LOL why?

Because it's a cop out. I want this story told in full and closed.

Who is that guy?

Grey Matter. Walt's old partner Elliot.

:wow: :wow: that dude is on this season of Suits

The Wire seemed a little overrated to me. Crashed at my brother's last year and he had the box set and I just couldn't get into it like that.

I finished all the seasons last winter. Really enjoyable for me. McNulty is one of the more entertaining tv characters i've ever seen. I've learned to ignore all the "best tv show" ever talk. People's choice always changes. Before it was Lost, then The Wire, and now BB. All those shows are so different.

He looks like the character on the cover of Mad Magazine.
another reason why he needs to die.

He was the catalyst for all this. If Walt had his company, catch cancer? He gonna buy the cure, vs. turn to meth. And he would have a wife we would hate far less.
It started cus of him, thats why Walt wanna prove how great he is at the cook. It would be dope to me if he got dealt with.

Who is that man pictured above i've watched breaking bad from the beginning and don't remember him or this gray matter you all talking about.

Did they spend a significant amount of time on him or this gray matter?

After reading some of these comments and how people would have changed things and how they want the show to end all I can say is

Im REALLY glad Vince is in charge of these decisions and you guys arent

Its like some of you want see this story play out like just every corny 80s action movie; where the main character kills everyone and walks away emotionless and unscathed
THIS.
