Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

Really interesting theory about Badger's Star Trek story.

my theory:
hank will go after jesse to make him confess.  walt, knowing this, will have to kill jesse or else risk him snapping under hanks pressure.

a question for people that still support walt, what would need to happen in order for you to turn on walt? would he have to kill a certain person?

a question for people that are against walt, what would he need to do to get you on his side again? is there no return to the good side for walt in your opinion?

I'm not for or against him. He chose that life so he has to deal with the consequences. It's like anyone else that chooses a life of crime. As for being mad that he offed other criminals, the same rules apply to them. That's the life they chose.

yes and yes.

It's Walt's journey, so of course I'm gonna root for him. Am I supposed to root for Jessie?

You stop rooting for Walt when you realize he'll kill people for personal gain and not just because they're a bad person. Killing Gayle bugged me, but I absolutely turned on Walt when he poisoned Brock.

Anyone else trip that everything will have come and gone within 2 years timeline wise? (Age 50-52 for Walt)

im just here for walts journey. not picking for or against.

not everything has to be team edward or team jacob these days.

i see it like if he was that reprehensible he would have killed brock.  what walt did was in his mind no crueler than pinching a baby to make it cry for tv.

It's deeper than that. At that point, the writers were showing us how far he was willing to go for personal gain for NO REASON.  The way Gayle was framed in terms of his character, he was innocent-yeah, smart-yeah, but he still annoyed you because he wasn't Jesse. That was purposely done. He didn't have any quality that endeared you to him as a character. Meanwhile Brock represents Jesse turning into someone more responsible and he's an innocent kid. Walter has children, so what does that say? That showed he was willing to push boundaries no matter who it was. All for what? To keep controlling Jesse for his gain? That act was a real turning point for that character.

Dudes are going to analyze everything and figure out the plot. Minues whale just sit back and enjoy the ride. Only 7 episodes left.
