Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

Also everyone remember that Vince Gilligan originally planned the show to be like 7 or 8 seasons then AMC screwed him over and poured all their money into the steaming PoS that is The Walking Dead, hence the non-existent rush that some of you are complaining about
Didn't know that.

I remember reading that they were gonna kill Jesse off as a character after season 1 . . .

Todd picking the lint off Lydias back

sucker2.gif

He's such a nice psychopath

Him trying to "dress up" to impress Lydia

Breaking Bad did not deserve the Emmy last night. They deserved it in season 2 or 3 but not for season 5.

Game of Thrones or House of Cards should have won.

The Emmy association with the make up call.

Dont know if somebody said this already

But maybe walt is gonna put the ricin in a drink and poison grey matter man.
Maybe thats y at the end he started to drink that drink, then looked at it and put it down...then the show ended on a close up of the drink.

Poison someone with a drink like gus did manolo.

All I know is based on what I saw from dexters series finale BB could simply play the remix of their intro song for 75 minutes without video and it would still be better than dexter.

Walt shoulda been like " **** you ***** i wish louis was my son instead of you" after walt jr spazzed out...

They still dont have nothing on walt. He didnt kill hank n gomie. He doesnt have the money no more. The aryans do.

No dvd.

None of this would have ever happend if jesse wasnt such a ***** and just left... Musta been back on the crack

shoutout to whoever noticed the "2 Kings" comment by the extractor.
that may be something to keep in mind.
can't see Jesse teaming back up with Walt
especially after his admission about Jane.
can't really see Walt taking out a group of Aryans who have proven to be true hitters.
Dudes took out Declan's people with precision
And were precise with the choppers against Gomez and Hank
every last bullet hole was in the front of the truck, no displaced shots lol
Whereas Walt is asking if the M60 came with an instruction manual.
also noticed Jr trying to distance himself from his namesake.
They called him Flynn over the PA system.
It's truly sad how the family has turned their back on him.
All I ask for in the finale is a lot of bloodshed
And Walt getting some kind of satisfaction prior to his demise.

Grey Matter brought Heisenberg back. He was ready to turn himself in prior to their TV spot. I have a feeling we will get a Todd vs. Jesse showdown, it just has to happen. Lydia is not long for this world. Poison seems to be the way she will go. Walt will turn himself in, he has to clear Skylar and try and give them some sort of normal life at the end of all this. They will end up with the money somehow, I haven't figured out how, but they will. Aryans are getting waxed too. Loose ends getting tied up, this shows has to end on a satisfying note.

I also don't get where some of you making the assumption that Walt left Grey Matter
Due to an inferiority complex.
there are allusions to something occurring when he speaks to Gretchen privately at lunch
"Is this about US?" - Gretchen
And when he speaks to Jesse about it and brushes it off as merely "well something happened"
I don't think revenge will be taken on them directly.
they really didnt do anything.

Yoooooo I just realized that Walt might know Jesse is still alive cooking. The only person that can make Walt's meth is Jesse.
assuming it's been a few months has passed, he must've been thinking jesse was killed right after the shootout in the desert
completely obvious people....he also knows Lydia is still involved because they mentioned it being found over in Europe

I know they're dirty for talking all that mess on TV, but if Gretchen and Elliot are killed by Walt than this show really will start to delve into killing innocent people that have no reason for dying.

Andrea was completely innocent, but she had a reason for dying.......a message for Jessie.

Killing Grey Matter does nothing but insert revenge, which should be pointeless at this stage for Walt.

If anything, it's about his legacy....does he want to go out as a civilian killer or a western-style outlaw who kills all the bad guys for his cash?

Yea he wont kill them. He will publicly shame them by showing his real contribution to the company and/or MAYBE find a way to act as if they played role in his scheme if he REALLY wanted to be vindictive. But they don't die.

I caught that as well. But Jesse is too weak to be a king

Todd sure is dressed like Heisenberg in this scene...minus the hat, glasses & hushpuppies

the way he was giving his uncle's them looks

when they were talkn bout that wood chippper under her skirt

he didnt like that...maybe dudes been underestimated his entire time by his clan and he rises to be king due to him snapping in the last episode.

might be Walt vs Todd in the end
Todd with the light blue oxford...meeting with Lydia...telling uncle Jack there's still more methylamine left to cook, and more money to be made...making Jesse cook that 92%...then 96%...letting Skylar know what's up...letting Jesse know what's up. He has already risen to be the king of the operation. He has been the leader of his crew ever since he kept Jesse alive for the sole purpose of enhancing his cooks and getting his product's quality at the right level to conduct international business. Uncle Jack and the rest of Todd's crew are more than happy enough with the money they already have. But Todd, has "a lot of respect" for Walt, this is more than money to him now. He doesn't want to uphold the legacy of Walt's empire, he wants to make it HIS OWN. He's stealing Jesse's cooking knowledge (which Walt gave Jesse) to build his empire in the same manner that Elliot and Gretchen stole Walt's intellectual property (his patented ideas) to build their empire. It was like a double slap in the face hearing Elliot and Gretchen discredit Walt's contributions to their company and then hearing that Walt's signature blue meth was back in the streets. Pair that with Walt no longer having his family, money, or health. EVERYTHING has been taken from him and he has nothing left to lose. Ready for the finale!

Yeah I agree killing Grey Matters founders doesnt do anything to benefit the story IMO.

That ship has sailed. He cant go back and get his share or put his name with it. He willingly gave that up.

yall saying killing gray matter people wont do anyrhing, but think about it from walts perspective. after he is dead, do you really think he wants to die knowing that gretchen and eliot will continue to profit forever from his original idea? make no mistake about it, i think the show has been pretty clear in showing them as nothing more than two rich, entitled yuppies with no real knowledge of science on the genius level of walt, certainly not capable of creating gray matter on their own. they stole walts idea for the for the company, plain and simple. paying him the buyout was more of a formaility, a legal aside for them. they basically fleeced him ala jack, and then added insult to injury by saying that he only created the name.

so yes i think they will die because if he doesnt kill them, theres no other way to permanently put grey matter out of business

This

I hope they die.

Pretty much.

I have a feeling house of cards will continue to be slighted because it isn't traditional television.

But, when has Walt killed anyone who wasn't a danger to him or his family?

He's still a smart man.

"Two CEO's of Grey Matter were killed today by Walter White, alleged co-founder and meth kingpin."

What does that do for him? Grey Matter would still continue to exist. The money would still exist. Two people would be dead. Other lives would be ruined for no gain.

I think after seeing that interview, the only thing that went off in Walt's mind was that he was truly unappreciated in every way possible. Everything he's worked for to make up for his mistake of leaving Grey Matter was worthless. All the people he's killed was for nothing. Does he really want to kill more people for nothing?

No. He wants to kill Todd and co. He wants to kill Lydia. He wants to kill Jesse.

Fortunately, they all think he's gone for good....he has the element of surprise. I don't even know if he has a plan at this point, but I'm sure he's expecting to kill all the nazis, take the ricin, and die in a jail as a man who's saved his family from persecution and potentially being murdered.

Jesse I really have no idea. He's already dead in so many other ways, it'll be something to see if he gets popped or suffers somewhere else. My guess is he dies a quick death....he's suffered long enough.

They didn't steal it. He walked away. Before it became what it was, he walked away. That was his choice.

The Blue business is different though. He learned from his mistake. He didn't walk away until he had what he wanted (the money and respect). He built it and truly made it his.

Grey Matter isn't his. He knows what is really is. He's probably going back to get it back :smokin

Well, looks like he found out about Jesse being alive via the same outlet that Sosa found out the snitch was still alive. Walt is definitely Sosa and Todd is definitely Tony.
