Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

Does anyone know if there was any significance in the scene where Todd's uncle wipes his boot of blood and flushes it down the toilet?

I do wonder if Todd has thought about undermining his uncle to take lead of his own empire.....
That's the thing with Todd though. What is his motives? Seeking power? Money? Even though he says it's for more money, it doesn't really seem like a real motive to me, just an excuse.

I'm sure Walt is heated and ready to take revenge on everyone involved........

but then he's gotta drive all the way to NM from NH.

Todd is a textbook sociopath. I liken him to the Joker, he just does. No motive, no goal or plan, he just does.

Jesse has always had a sweet spot for kids. He took care of the meth couples kid, he had an issue with Fring's men using kids to deal, and he was willing to die to get even with Fring's men for killing a kid (that just so happened to be Andrea's brother).

Walt took care of Brock and his mother. Brock isn't just some kid, that's damn near his son. Walt poisoned him just to manipulate Jesse. I don't understand how you guys just brush that off.

cuz regardless jessie is a rat at the end of the day

""what kind of man talks to the DEA.... NO MAN!!"

See this is why we needed an extra season to get more info on Todd. He's such a pivotal character now that I want to know everything about him. Hell even an extra episode would do. :frown:

iLLest!

I'm surprised they didn't at least do some type of flashback scene on Todd. They did one on the Twins and those dudes never even a spoke word.

How ‘Breaking Bad’ Made a Dying Boy’s Wish Come True (and Scored a Brilliant Cameo, Too)

The biggest twist on Sunday’s “Breaking Bad” — a moment that brought Walter White out of pathetic, snowbound retirement — came courtesy of a 16-year-old boy who died of cancer in the spring.

Kevin Cordasco was a huge fan of the show, and its cast and creator, Vince Gilligan, visited him as he neared the end of a six-year-battle with neuroblastoma. The first of the show’s final eight episodes was dedicated to him.

Gilligan once offered to tell Cordasco how “Breaking Bad” would end, and the teen turned him down — because he planned to live to see it himself.

Sadly, he didn’t. But he did contribute one of the its most crucial plot developments.

“Kevin, who was our wonderful, No. 1 fan… he told me that first day I spent with him, visiting him, he told me what he liked about the show and I said, ‘Is there something you feel is missing from the show?’” Gilligan said on the “Breaking Bad Insider” podcast. “He said, ‘You know what, I want to know more about Gretchen and Elliott. I want to know more about Walt’s backstory with them. I want to know what happened.’”

Gilligan added: “I can’t promise you you will ever get your complete knowledge of that situation to your total satisfaction, but the very fact that Kevin mentioned Gretchen and Elliott led us — the writers and I — to reintroduce them, reincorporate them into the story.”

In the final scene of Sunday’s episode, “Granite State,” Walt is sitting in a New Hampshire bar, about to turn himself in, when he sees his former business partners, Elliott and Gretchen Schwartz, being interviewed on television by Charlie Rose. When they say Walt contributed nearly nothing to their success, he is so outraged at being slighted yet again that he decides to return to New Mexico.

“It works as a catalyst,” Bryan Cranston, who plays Walt, said on the podcast.

“Walt seems to change his mind there,” added Peter Gould, who wrote and directed the episode. “He’s all ready to get caught, and then he sees the video…”

We’ve all heard the story about Babe Ruth promising to hit a home run for a sick boy in the hospital. The “Breaking Bad” version is a little different: It involves Walt going back to Albuquerque, armed with an M60 and a pocketful of ricin.

Kevin Cordasco sounds like a very tough kid.

**** todd, I'm glad we don't get a backstory on him since we dont get one for Gus.  Todd is a goon compared to Gus.

How was there no motive?

Killing the Kid- Because there had to be no witness

Sparring Jesse- To Produce Meth

Killing Broc's Mom- To get Jesse back into the kitchen

Running in on Skylar and Holly- To make sure Lydia's name wasn't involved. Keep in mind he believes Sklyar got the message and is advising against any further action on their family.

You may not agree with the things that he has done, but there is reasoning behind it. He ruthless and stone cold. Nothing stopping him.

This is what's lacking from Netflix shows and what I think is going to hurt them. All the discussion with shows like House of Cards and Orange is the New Black takes place retroactively. It's just binge watch, and wait for next season.

not breaking bad related but he has been a guest star. thought this was funny

If you have Netflix, checkout is stand up "you people are all the same". So funny.

The Northern Lake Baikal is famous for it’s unnatural beauty. During the winter, the Turquoise Ice cubes are formatted on the top of the lake. This ideal Winter Holidays destination offers beautiful scenery that will take your breath away. Located in Siberia, the Baikal lake is deepest and and clearest.
