Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

lol reminded me of Marlo kinda.

but yeah, Aaron Paul from season 1 has REALLY progressed into a fantastic actor. Really wish he would of won tonight to three-peat.

The last scene with the Gray Matter folks is important. If Heisenberg existed back when all that stuff was going down, he would have gotten his share of the company. While he was dealing the meth, he got tough. They never said it explicitly but one could say because of the dealings with GrayMatter is the reason he didn't want to be a pushover anymore and got tough. One could even go as far to say that GrayMatter is the REASON he became Heisenberg. And now that last scene with the lady (forgot her name) saying that Heisenberg is "gone forever" is almost like a call out.

He was sitting in the bar having one last drink, waiting for the cops to come pick him up. He threw in the towel after that phonecall. It wasn't until he saw the clip on the bar t.v. that he changed his mind.

If you think it's anti-climactic, well this whole series is supposed to be about Walt's rise and downfall. Gilligan has made it no secret for years now that Walt wouldn't come out of this unharmed and it wouldn't be a happy ending. He wasn't going to keep cooking and get away with it.

Even though we've had a general idea of what will happen from Point A to B to C, etc. the show has still done a fantastic job of connecting the dots in between in ways that we weren't expecting and that's why it's impressive.

Hes prolly gonna force them to write a check to that ungrateful punk and skylar at gunpoint then give them the ricin.

People can not like Jesse, but you can't deny Aaron Paul's terrific performances.

Actually you have it backwards

She said the sweet man she once knew "Walter White" is gone.

She doesn't know about the Heisenberg

Don't even feed the trolls.
I wasn't going to respond again since obviously no one in here can handle any sort of criticism towards their favorite show, which is fine I guess, but I take offense to being called a troll for offering an opinion. Plus I said I'm enjoying the second half because its tense, how the hell is that trolling?

She met Heisenberg when he told her '**** you' and walked out of the restaurant.

I was just telling dude he got the line wrong

Interveiwer: Is Walter White still out there
Gretchen: No he's not
Interveiwe: You sound very sure
Gretchen: I am....Well I can't speak to this Heisenberg that people refer to; but whatever he became, the sweet, kind, brilliant man we once knew long ago, he's gone.

Yea that's what I meant. Saying Walter White is gone is the call out.. not call out but more like a slap in the face since she is partly responsible for good guy Walter White turning into Heisenberg.
