Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

But, when has Walt killed anyone who wasn't a danger to him or his family?

He's still a smart man.

"Two CEO's of Grey Matter were killed today by Walter White, alleged co-founder and meth kingpin."

What does that do for him? Grey Matter would still continue to exist. The money would still exist. Two people would be dead. Other lives would be ruined for no gain.

I think after seeing that interview, the only thing that went off in Walt's mind was that he was truly unappreciated in every way possible. Everything he's worked for to make up for his mistake of leaving Grey Matter was worthless. All the people he's killed was for nothing. Does he really want to kill more people for nothing?

No. He wants to kill Todd and co. He wants to kill Lydia. He wants to kill Jesse.
Fortunately, they all think he's gone for good....he has the element of surprise. I don't even know if he has a plan at this point, but I'm sure he's expecting to kill all the nazis, take the ricin, and die in a jail as a man who's saved his family from persecution and potentially being murdered.

Jesse I really have no idea. He's already dead in so many other ways, it'll be something to see if he gets popped or suffers somewhere else. My guess is he dies a quick death....he's suffered long enough.

yall saying killing gray matter people wont do anyrhing, but think about it from walts perspective. after he is dead, do you really think he wants to die knowing that gretchen and eliot will continue to profit forever from his original idea? make no mistake about it, i think the show has been pretty clear in showing them as nothing more than two rich, entitled yuppies with no real knowledge of science on the genius level of walt, certainly not capable of creating gray matter on their own. they stole walts idea for the for the company, plain and simple. paying him the buyout was more of a formaility, a legal aside for them. they basically fleeced him ala jack, and then added insult to injury by saying that he only created the name.

so yes i think they will die because if he doesnt kill them, theres no other way to permanently put grey matter out of business

They didn't steal it. He walked away. Before it became what it was, he walked away. That was his choice.

The Blue business is different though. He learned from his mistake. He didn't walk away until he had what he wanted (the money and respect). He built it and truly made it his.

Grey Matter isn't his. He knows what is really is. He's probably going back to get it back :smokin

youre being too subjective and adding your own inferences into it. how do you know for walt it would be "killing for nothing"? as far as hes concerned, gretchen and eliot stole his childrens birthright, he's said as much. wuold you let two people steal your lifes work and call it a "buyout"? do you really think he "willingliy" walked away from a comany he created for 5,000? seeing how profitabe the company is now, do you really think he feels as if that 5,000 was fair compensation? grey matter would be mired in public scrutiny if after appearing on tv condeming him they ended up dead. it doesnt matter if grey matter continues on with a new board after the fact, the important thing is that gretchen and eliot do not continue to profit after he is gone. would you be able to rest eternally knowing that after you are gone, your legacy destroyed, and the people who did it are laughing to the bank?

grey matter isnt his? wow i dont even know what to say to that

So why did Walt leave Grey Matter? Did someone put a gun to his head?

He willingly left. That's what we were led to believe. There's no evidence otherwise.

I honestly think they were just tired of giving it to cranston

jr is jus being selfish and thinkin only of himself. hes upset because he didnt know anything, and feels lied to. he isnt thinking about his little sister at all, or his mom who is now working at a taxi dispatch. he always thought uncle hank was cool because he walked around with a gun, but jack and co showed that hank is in jesse's words, "just a dude", but to jr he was like his hero.

the way he called the cops on walt was just so :smh:

like how do you ask walt what happened, and then instead of hearing him out fullly, just jump to the conclusion that he killed him? :x

He probably has figured Jessi is alive because the blue meth is still out there and Jessi is pretty much the only other person that can cook that "Heisenburg" besides him.

Remember that the Aryans were asking Walt to come do a cook for them so that Todd could learn cook it up right since Lydia and company weren't so happy with Todd's current product.

The cook up doesn't just happen overnight so Walt probably figured that they are using Jessi as a "consultant" of sorts to get the product right.

It was sad as hell seeing Walter in that cabin alone and miserable last night. I really felt his pain. At the end of the day the only thing my man had left was his money, no family, no partner, not even a pet to talk to I couldn't help but feel his pain.

I have no idea was to expect from the next episode but I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

PS WALTER JR IS A *****. Walt should have done himself a favor and jerked that dude into a sock 17 years ago.

NobleKane thank you bro... Dudes in here acting like they are "Jesse" Sr. and we butchering their namesake...

The principal doe... Y'all remember in one of the earlier season when Walt tried to tap that? If he did, Heisenberg legacy will be complete

$100,000 is all he has to show for this smh.

I think the time skip comes in to place this ep. Don't think we'll be spending the whole ep in the recent present following what happened last week.

man.. she wasn't even a big part of the show.. but the feels..

NO HAPPY ENDINGS, B.:frown:

Man. ****.

I'm not going to work tomorrow.

Sorry for your loss.

Todd. :x :smh:

Dude is a real life robot, no emotions, no moral compass whatsoever.

Damn. Marathon from Wednesday to Sunday.:wow:
Imagine watching every single episode from beginning to end, like one 5 day movie.

"You are a lonely, pathetic psychopath.."

Todd is a G...triple O G

$100,000 is all he has to show for this smh.

all he could fit in the ensure box

Walt Jr wearing orange in that phone scene had me wondering...

kid neeeeeeeeds to die

Brutal

nooooooooooo.gif

People can not like Jesse, but you can't deny Aaron Paul's terrific performances.

hey calm down remember theres still a kid

sounds about right....but Jessie?
I think walt uses ricin on grey matter, dies of cancer, jesse an brock ride off in the sunset, and walt jr marries marie or louis. The m60 on the aryans is obvious. I think someone testifies that walt didnt kill hank n gomie. Maybe todd or jesse. Or a random surviving aryan. I wanna see how todd n lydia work out... Who kills who

I'll admit spelling it Jessie for a bit.

How heated would we all be if Walt Jr. was the one who killed Walt.

Anyone else notice kind of a weird dynamic between Todd & Jessie?

I mean Todd tortures the dude in every which way, but has told his uncle not to kill him twice already.....

He leave the blanket off for him to look at the stars, but murders Andrea in the next breath.....

He's like the enigma version of Walt 2.0

He'll do what he needs to do to send Jessie a message but he's upfront about it....no sneaky bull

On the other hand, he needs Jessie. To build help build his empire? Maybe. To lure out Walt? Maybe. For demented fun? Maybe.

Fortunately, much like Walt, I believe he will slip up.....and Jesse will be there.

So why did Walt leave Grey Matter? Did someone put a gun to his head?

He willingly left. That's what we were led to believe. There's no evidence otherwise.

so because he left he was happy about it? it was on his terms? he felt he was fairly compensated? just because no one put a literal gun to his head doesnt mean that he cant feel some type of way about how it all happened, or that gretchen and eliot couldnt create an untenable situation for him to continue there.

my impression was that the trip to the hamptons and the buyout were not at the same time. he left grecthen at her parents house, but i dont think thats when he sold his part. not to mention when in all of this did she have time to all of a sudden turn to eliot?

the way they make it seem was like a classic love triangle between the three, where walt had her first, being the man and a genius and all, and eliot swooped in after that fact, wanting all of what walt had, the company and the girl. gretchen was just out for herself and whoever she felt would be the best route to financial (in)dependance.
