Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

So many ideas on how this show will end. I know no matter what I think we will get thrown for a loop and jaws will be left hanging in true BB style.

sticking with my prediction that everyone who had a hand in the drug game will die and lydia will go to jail, except for jessie who will use the vac repair man to relocate somewhere safe with brock.

After all this Walt is still tryna do by his family. I mean, that's coo but I would've def just forgot em all together.

Now w/ the interview about Gray Matter, don't know how this show will end. Still pissed Jesse aint catch the ultimate fade yet but glad he didn't get away. That boy Todd is ruthless:lol: but ol girl dumb as hell for openin the door. Jesse musta had that stroke to have her doin stupid ish like that

That would be good to see Jesse go and gets Brock.

Just saw the episode, GTA distracted me yesterday.
  • My dude Todd is too cold for this world. Put one in Andrea's head with the emotion of Tim Duncan.
  • My logical side gives props to Flynn for denying Walt's money. My emotional side was thinking " this ******g bum has been annoying me since season 1"
  • If Jesse doesnt end up killing Todd, he should just poison himself by drinking methylamine or something.
In order for me to have closure, I'm gonna need Walt to go out with a bang. I need his family to know Walt didnt kill Hank, and that he loved them. I need Grey Matter to face the consequences of saying Walt only came up with the name. I need Walt Jr to get slapped. I need Uncle Jack to eat one of those M60 bullets. I need Jesse to choke Todd to death. I need Lydia to have some ricin in her tea. I need Huell to get off that chair. I need Marie to cease to exist. I need Hank/Gomie to have proper burials. I need Walt to tell Holly to "Say my name" like he did to Declan. After all that Walt can RIP and Jesse and Brock can ride off into the sunset to be alone at last

I could get down with that.

Can't wait for the finale but like others have said, it will be bittersweet. Definitely don't want this show to end. I need another one to pickup now.

Didn't see it posted but Aaron (Jesse) was on 106.7 The Fan, DMV sports talk station, on Dukes and Lavaar show. They asked him if he ever sits in with the writers and gives suggestions on his character. He told them no because he trusts their vision. BUT... He goes on to say that he did talk to them about if Jesse does die, he had in mind how he wanted him to go out. He said he didn't want some random on the street or insignificant person to do him in. Of course he didn't say if he does or not but I thought it was interesting nonetheless.

This Walter White-Heisenberg situation feels a lot like Jekyll and Hyde. Was that last scene him officially flipping that switch and breaking bad? Is Walt gone?

That’s such an interesting question. I can tell you the way I saw it: The way I see it is that Heisenberg is gone. He keeps trying to kind of evoke the ghost of Heisenberg, the thrill of feeling powerful, and it’s not there. It’s gone. It died when Hank died. It’s just not there. It died when he saw baby Holly. And then in the end, what is happening in my mind, and obviously we’re leaving it up to the audience to some extent, in my mind, what’s happening is he’s becoming something new. And it’s not Walter White; It’s not Heisenberg; it’s something new. And that’s what I think Dave Porter picked up on when he had that great variation on the Breaking Bad theme at the end. Dave and I both agree he’s sort of, in this episode, he’s becoming what he’s going to become, and we’ll find out what that is in the next episode..

More of the interview here..

That Conan ep was great. The fan letter , hairspray, etc.

I would've liked to see my man Giancarlo there though.

 :smh: @ the shots fired at Low Winter Sun in the end.

that last episode was pretty good glad to see walt got outta that bar even tho i thought he was about to go out like a lame cuz of his son but im ready for the finale !! is it gonna be an hour or 30 mins? i hope an hour but i wont get my hopes up

Thank God for this thread. The cast literally just came on Conan for me as soon as I put it on TBS just now.

Someone wrote they want to have sex with Aaron Paul while Cranston watched.

Gilligan said he wrote it lol

Season 3 ep 9 end credits had the same theme song as the last episode we just watched.

iLLest!

That's telling because it's the same episode Jesse mentions his woodworking project he worked on for class, that he did well on but sold for weed.

Gilligan said a hint for the finale episode: Woodworking.

:nerd:

Damn that little conversation between Odenkirk and Conan was a little awkward.
Almost as if they had some beef from back in the day.
I just looked at a couple things on youtube , Bob and Conan used to work together so beef could be possible
He did say that he was never on the show as a guest which is odd for someone who worked on the show and later went on to act. I don't think he was acting strange though. He is really laid back and people expect him to be over the top sense of humor like most of his characters. Plus he was just partying at the Emmy's and hoarse from doing so.

Didn't Jack say something about Lydia having a wood chipper for a {()} ?

I would say the actor who played Mike was acting weird in the beginning. Wouldn't greet Conan when he walked out and gave him an awkward stare but he was just playing around.

Also:

Here's Andy Greenwald's recap of last night's episode.

This is so true, I thought about that so many times. It's why Breaking Bad can never be better than the Sopranos or The Wire to me, some parts are just filled in with bull**** to keep the story going. As the seasons progressed so has the bull****. It wasnt like for most of the first three seasons.

Yeah, but AMC also tried to push crappy Low Winter Sun on us.

They didn't value their show like they should have. That's not Mad Men or Walking deads fault but AMC execs

I have LWS on my DVR....going back and forth on whether or not it's worth watching. I haven't heard many good things about it, so I'll probably erase it when I get a chance.

AMC has had some misses....Rubicon comes to mind.
