Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

just saw the episode. cot damn that was good tv.

- who is the ricin for?

I'm almost positive Walt will use that on himself. He doesn't really like taking orders from anyone and seems to have a problem with authority. No way he's gonna let cancer decide when he is going to die.
That would just be really anticlimactic though..

He also looks to have beaten cancer with a full head of hair and beard, unless it's a disguise of course.

Only reason I can think of him using the ricin on himself is because he wants people to perceive his death was of natural causes as opposed to looking like a coward by blowing his head off. Everything else I thought of was just reaching way out there.

Cancer doesn't make you lose your hair tho, it's the chemo that does. And not everyone that undergoes chemotherapy loses their hair. IIRC, Walt decided to shave his hair, he never lost it.

I think he will have a scarface type showdown with Lidia's people tho. Him and Walt Jr. Watching that scene always stuck out to me.

"Tread lightly" = Walt is that dude

This show has me questioning my morals

. Im rooting for a meth dealer who is responsible for the deaths of several people, along with creating poison. Part of me hopes hank catches a bullet for punching Walt, even though Walt deserves to rot in jail.

I would like to see the ratings difference from when Breaking Bad was over to when Low Winter Sun started.

My prediction:
Dudes from the desert got word of what Walt was doing with Lydia.

He comes to the White residence and slaughters his entire family, leaving him alone. Ends the scene with a line like "You want me to say your name?!" and he spells Heisenberg across the wall. "This is what Heisenberg has brought you. Your family is dead"

Like I said earlier, my ideal situation would be Walt Jr. accidentally running over Skyler with his Challenger.

i could see this happening.

Walt started to lose his hair because of chemo.. He just kept shaving it once he was finished.

Great mid-season opener last night

I'm about to read this thread from page 127 and see what everyone has to say about the episode.

It could be that Walt hasn't received the chemotherapy in months.
in the opening scene of season 5 in the Denny's bathroom Walt starts coughing and pulls out the orange pill bottle and takes his medicine for the cancer. If that scene and the opening one of the final episodes are close in time then i'd say the cancer isn't cured

Don't know why dudes love watching previews.
I like the whole episode to be my first time.
I'll watch a preview if it's shown after the credits. But I turned the TV off and went straight to bed after they announced how they were going to show the preview last night. I'm not thirsty enough or dumb enough to fall for an obvious marketing ploy like that.
I have no desire to watch Talking Bad
Me neither.
I don't get how you guys can post DURING an awesome show like that.

and this is only an 8 episode season, of course they are going right into it.

I don't get it either. I have to be in the zone with no distractions while I watch the shows I really care about. I can't miss anything. Especially in BB where small details have potential to be really important.
They look so angry with each other in the first gif. So distraught in the second.
Walt left the dummy cooking and he's putting out subpar product.

Either the dudes from the republic are coming for him or the dudes he made a deal in the desert with.

Hank isn't going to take down Walt because imagine how that's going to make him look?

Either they think he was down with Walter cooking or he's a dumb *** cop.

Not to mention Walter paying for Hanks doc bills.

That's all illegal / drug money.
Good points.
We don't know when "Heisenberg" was written on the wall.

Obviously his dual identity became public knowledge because of his neighbor's reaction.

It could have just been graffiti done by random intruders like the small tags that were all over.
In addition to his neighbor's reaction, I wish Walt would've stepped out by the pool so the skaters could've reacted to seeing him. That could've been telling.

i think walt quit the chemo since his cancer is only getting worse.  he's been doin chemo since the start, if its not working anymore he might have just decided to quit it. besides i think chemo makes you sick which is why he was throwing up in the episode.

I want 3 more episodes of present Walt then for the last 4 make the time jump to Future Walt. I am greatly intrigued by Future Walt. I'll settle for 2 Future Walt episodes, but the more the better. The Walt and Hank confrontation leads me to believe we're on the right track.

Doesn't the ricin take like 24-48 hours to kill the person? What if walt takes it and then goes used that M60 on the people in the desert, killing all them, then dying right after from the ricin because everyone around him gets killed in earlier episodes

Correct.
I still think Walt has cancer but his absence from chemotherapy has caused his hair to grow back.
I doubt he will checking into Oncology centers (not sure if you get chemo there?) if he is taking refuge in New Hampshire. That's assuming he's running from the law of course.
