Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

I wish there was a situation where Walt would have to tell Jesse about him watching Jane, but that would be so out of character, and there would be no reason for him to tell her.

No one saw. Gilligan would really have to be a whiz to come up with something plausible enough for Walt to spill...
Nah, that's not going to happen. If anything like I said Jesse would probably have to put two and two together on that one, and I'm not even sure about that one. I'm not banking on that type of scenario though.

Maybe Saul will be the one to tell Jesse but I'm not sure if it was him that had Mike come over to clean up the mess or not.

A scene leading up to the death of Jesse.

Walt going on how he always had jesses back and always did what was best for him.

And just goes off saying everything he did.

Walts is always about building himself up and putting himself on this higher plain than everyone else.

Him telling Jesse everything he did for him would make sense.
This seems more plausible

Okay, I get that, but how does watching Jane choke fit into "Walt has always had Jesse's back and done what is best for him" as you stated...

Not even Walt would be that bold to think Jesse would take that any way other than the way he would take it.

Hell, it's not even just Jane, if Jesse found out about the flower in the backyard that made the kid sick but wasn't the ricin, that would again be reason enough for Jesse to go insane on Walt.

If Walt is going to try and go the underground route and just drift off and leave the life, imo Saul has to drop. He knows so much, Walt couldn't afford to leave him alive, and I would go crazy seein a scene where Walt comes to end Saul's life.

So much awesome still to come. :pimp:

I guess I don't see what there is for Jesse to get mad about. She OD'd. Walt watched. What was he supposed to do? Call the cops? He just dropped off half a million to Jesse's crib, and Jesse's high out of his mind on heroin. So calling the cops wasn't an option. He couldn't tell Jesse because... Well... He was higher than a kite.
Walt was somewhat responsible for Jane's death because when he was shaking Jesse to try to wake him up, she turned on her back. All he had to do was turn her back to her side to save her.. You just don't watch someone die like that. He let her die for his own personal intentions

Man, they should've named this ep "Tread Lightly" :smokin

Also c'mon now, Walt watched her choke on her vomit, he saw it bubbling up in her mouth as she asphyxiated. He let her die in a sense when he could've saved her. Only way I can see Walt tell Jesse is to spite him like in all of the previous arguments and fights they've had. That's when Walt would purposely say it, not even let it slip, straight up tell him on some "And you're right! I DID KILL MIKE! AND YOU KNOW WHAT? I LET JANE DIE TOO!" then close up to Jesse confused and shocked then rage as he tries to kill him.

Somebody said it in the past few pages but yeah Walt's going to want to go out on his terms. When arguing with Jesse he told him we were both going to hell but he wasn't going to lay down and wait for it just cuz a kid died and so many other ppl died cuz of them.

 @ some of yall thinking cancer equals automatic hair loss so if he has hair it's gone.

While I have no idea what the rest of this season will bring I am definitely excited. Reading some of the guesses you guys have as to where the season will go has proved quite entertaining today at work. Even if all of the scenarios being laid out are wrong, we must step back and realize how great this series has been. The number of pages this thread has grown today is more than most TV show threads I've read on the forum, definitely one of the best shows I've watched, word to 24 and Prison Break.

Shouldve passed by my crib |I

Walt's house being condemned was a great opening scene, and the "showdown" with Hank, very very good scenes.

Incredible opening to the final season.

Why do I remeber Walt saying how much he loves camping...maybe he hits the wilderness and he just lets everything and everybody destroy themselves.

- Also, over the weekend a new Breaking Bad theory was floated, one in which it’s noted that Walt’s penchant for adopting things from people he kills could point to him killing Skyler. Taking this into consideration, could Walt’s choice of jacket in this scene point to Walt murdering Jesse?

crazy 8 = cutting off bread crust
gus= volvo & towel under the knees while vomiting (2nd is just ironic because he never saw gus do it)
mike= neat drinks

I can buy into this theory but not really in association with Jesse, I think that's a bit of a coincidence. There's more validity to the association with Skyler because he took her last name and he's spelling out 52 with bacon on his birthday (what she's always done for him). In this case, he's only wearing a drifter's jacket that's similar to Jesse's. I didn't see enough "Jesse behaviour" from Walt in that scene.

My favorite part of the episode was between Badger & Skinny. The fact that they injected humor that effectively when all sorts of crazy stuff happening is amazing.

Also, I can't see Jesse killing Walt. It just doesn't make sense to do it now in his state of mind. Now if Walt was still Heisenberg-ing the meth game, and killing, then I could picture it.

^ Loved that scene. Reminded me of when they were talking about the zombies that one time.

Jesse might assist Hank in his investigation to find hard proof of Walt's wrongdoings, and get exonerated of everything because of it? Anybody think of that angle? Who knows.

Picture this -- Last scene of the Final Episodes... Walt's finally in prison for life and his cancer is at it's all time worst, he then finds this the time to come clean to Jesse (who is there at the prison visiting him, looking the best he has looked in all 5 seasons). Walt comes clean about everything. Jane, the plant, Mike, etc. It's a dramatic scene where both cry and Walt admits he was wrong the entire time and a man is defined by his decisions, and can't continue being a good man if he's doing bad things. Ends with Jesse leaving in a hurry, with one last word to Hank, "Let that ***** rot in prison."

‘Breaking Bad’ Season 5, Part 2 premiere breaks AMC series' ratings record with 5.9 million viewers

The premiere of the second half of the AMC series drew in more than double the number who watched the opening episode last summer.

“Breaking Bad" broke good for AMC.

Sunday night’s kickoff to the final eight episodes of the dark drug-dealer drama drew 5.9 million viewers, more than double the number who watched the opening episode last summer.

For those keeping score on new media, it also inspired 759,689 tweets.

Yeah, its cool to see those two dudes come back for minor scenes. I can't see Hank sending him to prison. They have no proof of murders, and his treatment was paid with drug money.
