Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

Watching Hank as he drives and realizes all the stuff Walt has done was epic.

I predict the first few minutes of this episode will be part of the last few minutes of this show.

Hank is dead.
Jesse is dead.

Skylar and the children are in witness protection.

i want badger to have more play in the final episodes. i like his character. he comes across as an air head but its like he is coy and is waiting for the opportunity to reveal the real badger.

What you talkin about? Walt JR is the heir to the throne. He's gonna open up a chain of breakfast restaurants that'll dwarf IHOP and then have his superior meth shipped in his breakfast shipping trucks. He'll have the drug empire Walt started and be known as the drug kingpin Flint. The seeds have already been planted. What you think he and his friend have been doing for 4 seasons?

In an alternate reality, in the BB universe, this would be awesome
A kid with cerebral palsy running a meth empire? Nobody would ever guess.
:pimp: You can see the vision

What? That would be too wild. Like we find out he made some real connections while locked up for that short stint and has been plotting this whole time.

After watching this episode I once again thing the Protagonist is a idiot. He had the ILLST set up with Gus. Just cook 9-5 5 days a week and get paid millions. Done. Gus had everything and he RUINED IT ALL just to save his brother. I would have let the fat man with no kids die. Sure the family would have been sad and the mans wife devastated but what ever.

No the same man he saved ruined his life.

That last scene was perfect.
Gonna be some long weeks for me on this one.

Still wanna see a flashback with mike or gus.

Walt really didn't ruin the situation cuz of Hank. With or without Hank, Walt was gonna do something to cause a situation where he'd kill Gus. That's basically what he's done almost every season; killing his distributors and their associates.

Walt had no reason to kill Gus in the beginning. It wasn't until those two dealers killed that kid, that Gus' and Walt's relationship towards each other changed. And that's kinda Jessie's fault.

Last night's episode was awesome, probably the best premiere episode they've done so far. I didn't think they would do the Hank/Walt showdown so soon, but it makes sense since they only have 8 episodes and don't have the usual 13 to slowly set things up. The "tread lightly" line is already above "I am the one who knocks" for me.

The Star Trek theory was cool  I wasn't really paying attention to it when it happened during the episode, I just heard a lot of Chekhov thrown in there so i thought it was nothing more than a little shoutout to all the Chekhov's gun theories from seasons past.

I'm not talking about the beginning. He doesn't come in right away wanting to kill his distributor it's just a series of events that leads to it needing to be done in his eyes. Walt was back on his seesaw of being in and being out of the game. He needed the money and that's why he pursued Gus. Once he started getting paid and was on his way to having more than enough is when things started to change. Once Gus tried to cut off Jesse (for the right reasons mind you) Walt started plotting. Didn't like the idea of Gale, didn't like being constantly watched, didn't like how he was treated. Then he got slowly pushed out as Jesse was brought in and then it was basically a wrap.

Nah man, Gus is way too scary to give a chance. He knew he had to kill Gus the right way and right away cuz at that point is when he had enough confidence and developed to where he thought he could run things and be in charge. There was really no reasoning with Gus for what he wanted.

Crazy 8 was a prisoner that he didn't want to kill but was gonna kill him when he was gonna let him go, Tuco was just too volatile son got high on his own supply and was gonna take them to Mexico (to me he really didn't give him a chance, he just needed Tuco's money and still wanted to be removed from fully committing). As things escalate he got more efficient and ruthless.

I'm a little disappointed Hank didn't let it play out and catch him in the act...

I'm just a little scared the next 7 episodes will be underwhelming :wow:.

.
I feel the complete opposite. There's still so much story to tell. The rest of the episodes from here on out will be non-stop action and entertainment, imo.

Really the only way the final episodes or finale will be disappointing is if fans are absolutely dead set on Walt dying or Jesse/Skylar/Hank dying... and they've theorized and found clues to the point that if it doesn't happen, they'll be let down.

This show has yet to disappoint and I'm like 98% confident they'll deliver a satisfying ending.

He would've never caught him though. He was already by the time day Hank caught on. Outside of ppl like Lydia showing up to meet him or Todd he would've been good and even then Hank would not have any solid evidence.

Walt convinced him to have Jessie as his partner after Walt's bogus excuse to replace Gale. Gus didn't cut Jessie off. They weren't being watched until the dealers died.

When Hank was catching that panic attack on his way home I was clenching my sofa pillow, **** was intense.

Anybody else think that Walt Jr. is gay? I know it's off the wall, but every time they bring up Louis, I think that they're gay together and getting into drugs. I think before the season is over, Walt finds some of his blue meth in Flynn's room, car, etc.

That would be cool if pulled off correctly.

The most underrated scene was when Hank was having that flashback about Gayle's lab book.

"W.W... Who do you figure that is? Woodrow Wilson? Willie Wonka?"
Long pause
"Walter White?"
Walter throws up his hands
"You got me..."

The look on Hank's face...
Man, I swear I started watching this show when I did. Because if I'd been watching since day one and they left me with that cliff hanger since last September... I'd have ******g broken my TV and I'm not eem playing.

It was Perfect with Gus,

The damn Job was a simple 9-5 5 days a week with no worries. Thats all it took.

The Kid was bad but Walt could have negotiated some special time in a room with them if he wanted or whatever. Revenge could have been easily had.
