Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

In my opinion you would be signing your own death certificate by running off with Walt's money. Dude has killed for less (Mike). Basically his dying wish is that his family lives on and benefits from all of his sacrifices (morals, time, effort, etc.) as he told Skylar. Y'all are tripping. Of course tweedle dee and tweedle dumb took some money and Walt knows that which is why he said "close enough". Who wouldn't? Walt had no time to count or weigh it.

I feel like my calls are gonna be right. Should've put some money on it. :smh:

this is the reason i didnt think the episode was that great.......they focused so much on him securing his money even though he could have just went with the two goons to supervise or done it all himself.

eps was still really good and the ending had me upset it was over. thought the creator said each episode will be packed with action/plot and this one seemed a little underwhelming

The power move at the end was underwhelming? Lil' Ricky playing chess wasn't G to you? He had the Nazi pawns on deck and Lydia the queen holding his board down.

As far as Walt, dude's mind was spinning. He had too much to think about and of course skipped some key steps. He did what he could given that he never saw that coming and had no plan for it.

i dont think he would want to go w them to the storage facility in case hank was watching, or go himself for that matter

why would he want anybody knowing where his money is?

that money means the world to him..

"Please don't let me have done all this for nothing."

If they had any sense, they would have put a tracker on that van. Knowing he had no choice but to bury/stash all that money with the DEA after him. That money isn't going to be touched for a long time. Maybe never if he dies. They could easily go get the money, take their time, make a plan and disappear without walt knowing.

I find it interesting that everyone wants and likes these cold characters that have no emotion like a Walt, or Dexter, or Gus, but the ones that have to actually go up and down like Skylar, Jesse, Deb get hated on endlessly.

It's so very easy for Walt to sit there and not flinch when a gun is pointed in his face. It's not a real gun.

Asking Skylar to cry so hard that she shakes, or Jesse to go from high to low from scene to scene is pretty difficult, and yet they always manage to pull it off, and more importantly, look believable.

I'm not sure why that's going on, I just find it interesting that so many around here have these feelings towards the characters. They may do or say things that are annoying, or make "ugly faces", but the fact of the matter is, those characters are acting their ***** off. Walt is a "bad ***" for telling Hank to tread lightly, but if Hank felt the urge, he would mop the ******g floor with Walt. Period. Bottom line, end of story.

The show isn't written for that however, so Walt gets to look tough, and bad ***.

People need to get over it. Jesse, Skylar, Deb, and any other annoying actor/actress just mean they are excelling at their job and doing their roles to perfection. Hating them for it is shortsighted and silly when rooting for tough guys that really aren't tough, or bad ***** acting tough in front of fake guns or knives.

bryan cranston and giancarlo esposito have given the two best performances

of this show man ....bryan cranston is jordan 92' good....every game 40 points

and yes skylar can burst into tears....as can every female actor....ever

overacting =/= good acting

Here's the thing about stealing Walt's money and escaping... I hope you don't have any family or loved ones you're leaving behind. Or that you're picking them up on their way out of town because they're in immediate danger from the man you just stole from.

Those two are also semi-professionals, so stealing the whole thing wouldn't really be a concern. Plus Walt assumed they took some for themselves anyway, a couple hundred grand is a fair price to pay.

 at thinking your taking all this cash and setting up a new life somewhere. that isn't clean money. you still have to launder all of that

Who said anything about Walt taking all his money with him?
In the flash forward it looks he has lost everything. He probably only grabs enough cash to pay the Vacuum guy and to last a few months on his own, while in hiding.

i was referring to the people in this thread thinking they're going to drive the van full of cash away and starting a new life. not walt.

Y'all are severely overrating Walt. If he's broke, he has no power. He's not about to start cooking because Hank is on him. Lavell and Ol boy could've easily ran off with the loot and Walt wouldn't be able to do ****.
walt had 10 people wacked in two minutes in prison.....

he killed gus fringe ...and he killed a trained assassin in mike....

he can still call in the favor to the aryans or have lydia call in some czech hitmen

he can pressure saul to give up all their information.......those two dudes

probably made a few hundred grand for a few hours of work and have nothing to worry about

whenever they go home.....which beats running around with barrels of money living on the edge

yall dudes trippin

Here's what dudes are missing Walt turned into a cold blooded killer in a matter of months and in less than 2 years he's become a villain, not a dude who had a drug empire fall into his lap... he TOOK it.

Is he still soft in some spots, yes, but mostly when it comes to his family. He wasn't really tripping when Lil' Ricky killed that kid or when he blasted Mike for no good reason. So all of that said, dudes think they would just drive off with his loot?

Walt poisoned a kid to play chess. Overrating? Nah. Walt is the one who knocks and Huell and variant Louis CK would be the ones taking dirt naps.

Does Jesse know that Hank thinks Walt had something to do with him being shot up? Does he even have any idea Hank was shot up by the twins?

I can see Jesse n Hank teaming up on the low to take Walt down.

If Jesse thinks he has the stones to take out Gus, Mike, and his own brother, that might be enough for Jesse to turn on Walt even tho it was really Gus who had Hank set up.

When Hank got shot and was going to the hospital, Jesse was getting out of the hospital from Hank beating on him, so I don't think he knew what went down

^ that's what I'm saying. Now he thinks Walt was behind it so I wonder if he asks Jesse about it and then **** hits the fan. Jesse already has a hunch Walt poisoned the kid and killed Mike. I see Hank and Jesse teaming up on the low.

I would love to see Jesse and Hank team up. I think that would become an epic matchup.

I have a hard time thinking that Jesse would just stop and go at Walt 1 on 1. I can't picture that.

For some weird reason, teaming up with Hank I can see.

I just can't see them working together. Jesse is as guilty as Walt. If Walt goes to jail so does Jesse.
