Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

Everything's coming full circle.

I still think there's a chance the finale ends the way the pilot was supposed to.

Final scene: Walt shooting himself in the head with a handgun (while in his undies) after he loses everyone/thing.

/Breaking Bad

How dope would that be?!

This time, the gun is loaded and he won't be leaving any voicemails.

Ther are legit reasons like giving the money to that guy she slept with, but people OD on the hate. Act like she deserves Jenny from forest gump levels of hatred. I don't sit and watch episodes rooting for skylar but the extreme hatred and fixation in her always seemed odd to me.

I firmly believe walt's assets are taken and he stays alive to see it all.

In the end, Walt actually goes to Belize, fakes his death and enjoys all his money without a care in the world.

In the episode "Sunset", Hank pulls the tape from the bullet holes on the outside of the RV. Three beams of light come through and show on Walt's stomach.

Could that be some foreshadowing?

one thing to consider:

the writer's said they didn't know how the show was going to end until they wrote the first half of season 5.

I can only assume that anything before that can't possibly be purposeful foreshadowing about how the show will end.

They always say stuff like that. No way a show this complex and well crafted didn't have a definite ending from day dot

That simply isn't true. Jessie wasn't even supposed to make it out of the season. Things change all the time n these shows.

Well I hope the writers for breaking bad are much better than the writers for that piece of **** show lost. And it wasn't even purgatory it was some stupid *** place they created for themselves lol. Piece of garbage

All I'm saying is that creators doomt always know what point A to point B is gonna be. It isn't that rigid.

I read a blog post from Michael Slovis, who directed Confessions, and he stated , IIRC, that this episode is the "crest" of the season. This episode furthers stories and puts everything into motion.

I am excite

:pimp:

I'm not sure Walt dies, I think he loses all of his family though even little Holly. That would hurt him more than losing his own life because between cancer and all the situations he's been in, he's stared death in the face multiple times. From the beginning he's been doing this for his fam before he got carried away by his ego and his thirst for power.

Anna Gunn was dead on and all the fools on here that ***** about her every day should read that **** she posted every, single, day.

Glad she took the time to speak on it.

Anna Gunn is only right about the ppl crossing the line and their messed up threats on her life. Her distorted view and opinion of the character she's playing is kinda off base and seems like favoritism. Too late in the game to make a defense anyway. Should've asked Vince to write Skyler a bit more likeable at times.

Just like how the writers of Lost said it wasn't gonna end up being purgatory right?
Technically it wasn't purgatory. The original theory everybody kept saying was that they were already dead and the island was purgatory when what actually happened is cuz they were on the island when they eventually died they got stuck in purgatory until they were all (almost all) ready to move on together.

Now when I look at that ending I think the island was suppose to be purgatory but after S2 when damn near every addicted fan had that theory floating around they changed it a bit.

so were not allowed to take issue w her character or were sexist? :nerd:
I'm saying. That's weak.

She was terrible early on. She had many opportunities to step away.

It's not because shes a womam, it's because her character has been hypocritical from the start. She's not very likeable, and I'd feel the same way regardless of her genitalia.

She stopped being a victim when she sat by idly.

Give me a break Anna Gunn.

i think she fightin to not get typecast as a shrewd ***** from now on, all she needs is to do is play john stamos wife in a new sitcom and all the hate will be forgotten

edit: and on lost, i think b/w seasons 2 & 3 something happened in the writers room, where the whole dynamic of the others shifted, the island, and jacob/mib.  i think the dharma initiative was originally intended to be more than what it turned out to be.

It's a testament to nit only the writing but her acting ability that people hate Skyler that much. She should take it as a compliment.

i think for her to come out so brash like that, talkin about people are relating her herself to skylar the character, its only because she herself identifies with skylars characteristics/motivations/behaviors within herself

like she's being too self conscious about it, its almost like shes saying if you hate skylar you hate me

edit: nobody was calling for her head in her other show, deadwood or justified whichever so how is she taking this now so personally?

You guys make it sound so easy though. Like just get up and leave. And then Walt Jr hates her and won't talk to her and won't eat breakfast with her? You know he would end up wanting to live with Walt. And when she refuses and can't give a legit reason why he can't stay with him?

Well.... She should have just turned him in. C'mon like that's an easy decision. Once again I could see her kid hating her. And it's gotta be hard to turn in a loved one.

There are reasons t hate her. I think cheating is kind of a silly one considering some of the greatest men in history have cheated. But hey she was doing it out of SPITE. It came from diff place. Fine **** her

Her giving away the money? Now that's a valid reason to hate her. It was idiotic. But she thought she was doing a good deed. That actually didn't come out of a bad place.

I just think the hate is overblown. Like people would be throwing a CLE ration if she was captured and tortured lol
