Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

Last night's episode was something.

Huell.

Flynn was so mesmerized by meeting Saul in person you'd think he saw a life size breakfast burrito.

The last scene in the desert with Walt surrendering to Hank was amazing.

Jesse's facial expression during that scene were superb. His feelings of anxiety/relief/uneasiness was palpable. Aaron Paul is masterful at conveying emotions without saying a single word.

Walt seem disappointed and hurt when he saw Jesse was with Hank and realized he was working with him. He completely tuned Hank out while he was reading him his miranda rights.

@ the impromptu fight between Walt and Jesse.

To say I'm looking forward to the next episode is an understatement.

 @ the thought that the Arryans can't use google or find a map to figure out the location of the coordinates. They're not Skinny Pete and Badger. At the very least you could just say Todd figured it out. It's not rocket science.
Todd becoming my favorite character, I'm convinced he's an alien, he has no real emotions.
seeing that he had a thing for Lydia was funny to me.

 The coordinates thing is an idiotic argument. Give my 12 yr old nephew some coordinates and he'll ask and research enough to find it, much less adult mercenaries who's home base is a damn desert.

^ cats just wanna complain for the sake of complaining

If Jesse doesn't die it'll ruin the show for me :smh:

can't stand that dude

Skylar > Jesse

Interesting turn for me yesterday. Walt goes to the lowest low, showing up at that chick's house with the boy to lure Jesse out, and put the hit out on him. The ultimate low in Walt's character.

But, when he's in cuffs, in the truck, instead of sitting there, he actually yells out to warn Hank. :wow:

I don't know if anyone will live thru the shootout, but the fact that he tried to warn him, even in defeat, was a really big moment imo. And if that one guess was right, and he has to swap his money for their lives, suddenly everything changes about Walt's journey. Maybe his "family" is more than just his kids and wife, but Jesse and Hank are as important as he implied earlier in the year, despite what his actions showed.

Nah hank is gone for a fact...dude never told Marie in any episode he loved her..the whole ohh I'm not gonna be home for awhile..nah it's a wrap for old hanky Panky.

And he supposedly just told max kellerman in his ear what happens to hank...his response was "they can do that on tv?"

magic is one bitter dude. he always complaining about who can wear Jordan's and why certain models suck. now he's in here angry that nazis can read coordinates. if you're 41 it might be time to log off and get some air.

Its probably been mentioned, but wasn't Walts confession scratched up by Jesse when he stole Sauls car? Is there any other copies? Maybe they subtly referenced something else when he was scratching that dvd/cd up.

It wasn't scratched up. There was either meth or coke on it just to show that Jesse was high. That was just a random CD in Saul's car.

I think they said it was meth on the insider podcast.

And it's about time you start a fan club in my honor the way you hang from mine. You're my very own Fonsworth Bentley. Have some dignity.

Go collect some cans and maybe you can get a girl next year.

for some reason i think hank and the other agent will get murked but jesse will get to live because walt will tell todds uncles that he needs him im order to cook the blue stuff for them.

hank always loved his job more than his wife.

why would walts confession be in sauls car if he gave that DVD to hank?? i think they were just showing that jesse was doing lines off of a cd.

Let's be honest... a death will happen next episode.

No way in **** they just go in peace after a scene like that.

I wish someone would've got capped tho

but honestly, walt should have known that there wasnt a gps on the van, because of his desire to keep huell and kuby from stealing his money. like if there was one, what would have prevented them from doing what jesse said he did. and furthermore, why did walt return the van to kuby all dirty, looking like it came from the desert vs taking it to the car wash first?

this is all just thinking in hindsight, but it seems to me like the holes that jesse exploited, walt would have covered in his initial plan to bury the money. a gps on the actual money would have been better i think.

edit: and why would the van company give jesse the gps information unless he was working with someone who would have such privilege i.e. hank?

all nice to think thru on the backend but ...he got a pic that looked like his money barrel & jesses INSTANTLY called him & started the power move lie ...he literally had ZERO time to think

fam was WALTER this whole EP maybe big H will return the next ep

Heres my lil prediction.

Gomie gets killed during the shoot out and hank and jesse are still alive. Walt begs the aryan to let them live and trades the money to the aryans for their lives. The money is also ANY evidence left to convict walt so if the aryans have it then hank cannot catch walt anymore. Jesse is kidnapped to cook. Hank and walt hug it out. then team up together to take down the aryans.

I'm just envisioning a Pulp Fiction-esque cold open next week where Hank and Gomez survive the shootout then as the four of them are riding back into town (Jesse driving, hank in the passenger seat gun still in hand, Walt and Gomez in the back)

"Oh man, I shot Gomie in the face."

I was reading one of the replies on Grantland's article that was pretty interesting. -Hank and Gomez die and Walt fakes his own death through Saul.
-Jesse is forced to work with the Aryans.
-The confession video releases and the Heisenburg tagged on the wall is meant towards Hank.
-The guns are meant to save Jesse

Why does everybody comment on the Aryans getting the money? The Aryans have NO CLUE what they are standing on. The money is safe in my opinion. Someone will have it in the end, Walt, the White fam, maybe even Jesse...or somehow Saul, being the snake that he is stumbles upon it after EVERYONE is dead.
