Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

As soon as he realized they tricked him he should have got back in and drove away.
This is true. I thought the same but they had the gps on his car again anyway so they'd know where he stopped for a moment and went searching for the money. From there all it takes is his fingerprints on the barrels.
I'd rather them get it halfway over with than them wasting like ten minutes on it next week.
Nah I want a slow motion shootout death scene with dope music in the background right after a dope cold open.

Gomie kept making body language like he was about to shoot Hank and Jessie, to let Walt go.

Swear he did, when he went in to start pattin Walt down, I thought he was gon pop Jesse and Hank

When Hank was starin at Jesse while he was in cuffs, I swore he was bout to recite ol girl's address to Jesse. Woulda been a boss move and mention that Brock likes Fruit Loops

Yeah with the flash forward and having 'Heisenburg' written on the wall it has to be Marie who makes it known to the public. Maybe she shows the confession tape to the DEA?

It would be a real shocker to me if they somehow pull it off where Hank lives in this shoot out. Walt is gonna watch him die right in front of him. Then they're gonna go to finish Jesse but Walt will stop them.

I still don't know how the ricin is gonna come into play if it's not for himself. I mean who needs a M60 and ricin lol

I think Hank continues to break bad and gives Jesse to the Aryans, keeping Walt under arrest and him and Gomez alive ...
There's no way they're going to stop shooting so Hank can give them some deal. Not to mention if they did, final say would be up to Todd and who'd he'd rather have cooking with him a few weeks to get the product blue and up it's potency.

No way he'd be okay with that deal and save Jesse.

Better ending would have been Todd taking the liberty to fire off the first round - fade to black. :pimp:
Yeah I was thinking similar, especially with so many ppl complaining about what we saw with the shoot out. They should've shown Todd take the first shot fade to black and as the credits role hear more shots firing off and Walt screaming "NOOOO!", "STOP!!!" Then next ep show something a bit more believable like Gomez and Hank immediately running for cover instead of standing around and shooting.

Im guessing the aryans go after walts family, maybe walt jr? And kill him (walt not cooking, since they killed hank). Heiseingberg gets exposed by the tapes too. Becuase in that future scene, it seemed like walt didnt care about life anymore. Money doesnt do that to you (when you can make more), family deaths do.

Does anyone think that Hank and Gomez's (likely) death at the site of Walt's stash will lead to a massive DEA investigation resulting in the money being found?

This would of course unravel Walt's world even more with the death of a family member AND his money seized.

^ It's possible but probably not. If Walt's not angry or in shock he'll have the bodies moved.

Anyway, after re-watching Vince did go to a few lengths to show you the length Hank and Gomey were away from the Aryans so it makes sense none of them get shot if you re-watch that scene specifically before the first shot. They make it deliberate to show Todd's uncle seeing Walt in the jeep, Jesse in the other car, and Hank and Gomey. I don't see how Jesse gets away.

If Hank survives I don't know how he doesn't think Walt set him up to get killed. Just think about the sequence of events. They show up shortly after Walt stops, Jesse already tells him not to call for help while he was still on the phone, Walt runs around a bit in a panic, confusion, and anger until he makes the call, takes his time before he gives himself up to Hank, time which critical and vital, and by the time Walt is cuffed and in the van the hit squad shows up to take them out.

Even though I'm missing my Heisenberg moments I like that Walt is still Walt. Completely ignored while still giving up to Hank cuz he's family while getting cuffed, told the Aryans to stand down, etc. Just wouldn't cross that line.

Me on other other hand? In that situation, I'm doing like Noble mentioned I'm telling Jesse Brock is gonna die and so is his moms and when he stands down I'm going to do it anyway. Then I'm gonna find his parents and brother and have them killed. I'm gonna find that dirty crack ***** he use to bang, Badger, Pete and kill them too. Only then does Jesse get to die. I would've told the Aryans to burn down Hank's house with Marie in it before they came to kill Hank and Gomez. Then I would've told Skyler to deal with it.

But that's only if I was in Walt's situation.

What's the guarantee they leave the bodies there?

Hmm... why would they take the bodies away?

If they had proved themselves as federales, I don't think this would've went down like it did. The Aryans clearly don't believe them to be law enforcement.

They assume Walt has been cornered and are rescuing him.

For y'all complaining about when Walt was on the phone Jessie. It's not difficult to understand. Jessie just found out about Brock, and he's pissed. Walt knows he's pissed. But Jessie is not pissed in his ordinary crying manner. He's had enough. He's through with all of Walt's manipulating. He's out to hurt Walt in the only way he knows how, which is through his money. Now here's Walt. He doesn't know what Jessie is up to, or that he's working with Hank. So now, here comes Jessie with this phone call. He's threatening to burn millions. Not thousands, millions. I want to see you act all calmly and thinking things out while someone tells you that they're taking a couple hundred buck from you while you're not at home. Dude was trying to reason with an,and who he thought was going destroy his money. Walt wasn't thinking about nothing else but the money.

^ Still saying that on the phone is dumb. Walt should know better. He was the main dude for each season constantly *****ing about phones and being cautious when it comes to what to say on them.

If the argument was Walt wasn't thinking straight I just say well he was still able to articulate his words in great detail for someone panicking so much. All you would've heard from me is DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RECONSIDER!!!!!!!!!! FUUUUUUUUU!!!! ARGGGHHHHH!!!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you think Walt is just gonna be unconscious throughout the whole thing and not be smart enough to say hey, move the bodies? and get rid of them like he usually does?

No. He should've said nothing or just kept screaming for him to stop or just drive even faster cuz in this scenario some of his money is gonna get burnt no matter what. Talking is not going to change anything. Keep in mind he ended his incriminating rant by calling Jesse stupid. So if Jesse was burning his money he would've been able to see a bonfire before he even got there anyway.

If that was really happening you're not going to get Jesse to stop over the phone. That 's a face to face talk.

This is TV, they're not just going to skip Walt driving to the destination, or keep him silent as he's driving. He knows he's mad about Brock so he's finally trying to talk to him about everything, since Jessie isn't having it anymore.

i personally thought it was to get them to take at least one hand off of their guns so that they could strike first

Saying this is tv is a cop out to this discussion. I can easily say this is tv so of course Jesse heel turns and sides with Hank despite it being too fast and too soon because shows have to have drama. That's not really discussing the story at all though. It's a pretty poor excuse for lack of rebuttal.
