Seriously can't wait for this mang... Hope I get home from work in time. Not really tryna catch the encore...

Been re-watching the whole series from the beginning throughout the week..

On S04E03 so far, so I'm right on schedule for the premiere.

Not really expecting much from the second half because I honestly think they just wanted to drag out the series, but in doing so they opened up too many sub-plots to have a finale that will actually have an impact. Hopefully they prove me wrong though..

Have we been watching the same show?

Yo you just gotta respect Gus Fring. Son was about his business. I hate it had to be him against Walt. I know Walt's proven himself in a similar area but Gus was showing you how a pro does it, backing down snipers, willing to take the poison to kill his enemies, mocking Hector. Good memories  :smokin

Despite being a drug kingpin, Gus' story was kind of tragic. Had he just ignored Walter, he would have still be on top.

The long and short of it is that Gus Fring could have probably had all he ever wanted — a consistent supply of high-quality product, no enhanced suspicion from the DEA, revenge against his enemies, some homemade Chilean soup in the evenings — had he not agreed to work with Walter. He just flew a little too close to the sun, like a Meth Icarus, and for his sins, he got burned. Say what you will about the man and his methods, but that’s a little sad.

On a related note, I noticed how bad I felt for Gale... especially when they showed the flashback to him unpacking the lab and how it was Gale who kept pushing Gus to hire Walt. Poor Gale

I don't like the description of how Gus' downfall is described in that quote. He initially didn't want anything to do with Walt after seeing Jesse. Walt pursued him cuz he was desperate at the time. Gus warned him. Then they managed to come to a temporary test run which led to something long term but was still pretty shaky.

I agree that messing with Walt was his downfall cuz he'd never be satisfied with just being a cook but the sneaky plan to have Gale come in, learn the recipe, and most likely take over after he dropped Walt and/or Jesse is to me where he really ****** up.

I do wonder how long he could've ignored Walter though. Imagining another course, if he never approached him I'm pretty sure the cartel would've eventually got Walt and/or Jesse to Mexico to cook for them permanently and then they would've pushed Gus out or marginalized him even more.

The rest of the article points out that Tucos cousins would have killed Walt without Gus' intervening... So that would have been the end of Walt.

Hmmm, yeah most likely. Gotta say after a while their quiet gimmick got old and I didn't see them as that intimidating or scary anymore. I'd like to think Walt could've science'd his way to victory.

I forget when he was in the shower and they were waiting on the bed, was the phone call that made them leave cuz of Gus? Cuz if so, yeah, Walt would've been dead

Mike was watching the house and saw the cousins, he called Gus, then the cousins got a text saying "pollos"

They were definitely less intimidating once you rewatched

The I'm ending can go many ways. Jessie has been the good guy lately, I think they're gonna do something to him to bring it back to people not liking him.

And I'm finishing season 3. Anyone find it funny that Skyler told her lawyer everything, meth and all, and she does nothing?

Gustavo character was genius.

Sadly he was a victim to Walts transformation :smh:

was it ever confirmed that he was gay?
