I'd feel guilty to not support her when the album is released.

Might consider seeing her live again; saw her twice when she stopped in NYC last year.

Second album is a good listen. More Pop than R&B...don't really hear a standout track so far, nothing jumps at you IMO.

love jessie but she's a natural soul singer. the more she diverges from that, the less memorable the songs are to me. the new album seems like more of a pop reach. the title track is the vein i was hoping the album to be in.

but this bonus track

Agreed. Soul/R&B is where her house was built. On my first listen I was disappointed but playing it again it's not a bad album at all. She wanted to branch out with her sound and she's entitled to that and still managed to put out a good album so I can't really complain.

I really enjoyed this album, right now on par with the 1st album. It's a good natural progression. She also seems really comfortable with her type of sound, and her collaborations on this album has been on point :pimp:

Say You Love Me, Sometimes...Kind Of...Maybe, and Keep on Lying are my standout tracks.

Can't wait to see her next Thursday in LA.

My ex put me on to Jessie first album 2 years ago. That album is amazing. The first 4 tracks gives me chills bumps bc of how insanely dope they are.

This album has a much more cohesive feel than Devotion after first listen.  I'm loving it.

I was apprehensive after some of the comments saying it was a pop-sounding album, but I'm not seeing it.  This joint is deeply rooted in R&B, IMO.  It definitely is a more polished sound though.  It feels very 80's to me, which I love.

Jessie is well on her way to being considered a classic artist, which is pretty rare these days.

After multiple listens and seeing her perform live this week, I'm definitely feeling this album is on par with Devotion. Very solid follow up. I hope this album takes her to the next level and she gets proper recognition.

Also, is it just me or would Sam Smith absolutely murk a cover of "Say You Love Me". I know he helped work on the album, but I wonder if he'd done a test recording for her.

Can't believe anyone would make an assessment of this album being an attempt at being pop-sounding.

The album is just as great as I was hoping it would be. It definitely exceeds Devotion in quality, which says a lot.

Not pop like Taylor Swift but more radio friendly if you catch my drift. At least that's how I felt. Jessie does somewhat have some elements of pop in her music, that kinda Celine Dion/Barbara Streisand approach.

I've been a longtime fan. Devotion was such a strong debut.

Tough Love is also great. Again, she flies under the radar.

My favorite track off the album:

Huge fan of Jessie Ware. I would agree "Tough Love" is on par with "Devotion" for sure.

"Want Your Feeling" is the one :smokin
