nets vs hawks - lets keep this going

Stupid plays right now. The game is almost complete, just finish them already.
 
Credit is due to the hawks though because they are doing this with Horford and Joe Johnson on the bench. Josh Smith has turned his game full circle from beinga dunker/shot blocker to a offensive threat/defender.
 
Carter clutch all season...
???This season or last?

Solid win though. I'm never worried lately when we go down early in the game but it really is annoying and has to stop...

I said clutch all season...that would mean this season. If I meant last season I would have said last season.

I was at the warriors game where he hit the GW 3, that was nice.....but as for the whole season he has not been clutch.

Damn I missed this game cause I had a game tonight. But daaaaaaaaamn........saw the highlights, RJ over Shelden was NASTYYY

Miami? The game right before that GS game you watched? He did the same thing. That doesn't count?

Just because its not a game winner, just because its not a buzzer beater, just because its not always a shot, he can still be clucth in the final minutesmaking passes, defensive stops, or the conventional points.

He was missing some big FT's and wasn't doing much down the stretch at all early in the season

In the GS game, he hit a wide open 3....he's supposed to hit a wide open 3. RJ was the one who drove and made the good kick out pass.

You are naming all recent games as well. Up until the last couple weeks, VC has been horrible compared to what we expect from him. I understand that's yourfavorite player, but to say he has been clutch all season? Definitely not. I'm a VC fan and a Nets fan obviously, but VC has just recently gotten intoform.

I think saying "Carter has been clutch the last 2-3 weeks" is more appropriate.
 
Wide open or not, clutch is clutch & he came through in the Warriors in game. Late december.

Then Miami, he came through with a very difficlut 3 point shot in the corner. Late December

In January, Bucks, Magic, & tonight, he was clutch.

Whats game did he screw up in this season? Im making the case he has been clutch this season & I named games when the ball was in his hands, he camethrough. You said he hasn't been, what games can you provide as an example that he hasn't been clutch when the ball was in his hands.

I'm a VC fan and a Nets fan obviously

Vince missed 5 games. Nets went 0-5. With the exception of the games he played prior to that at the beginning of the season where he was bricking everythingcause of his thumb injury, he has played great ball.

He won the Miami game, GS game, Bucks, Orlando game winning free throws... tonight. He's been doing well.

22 points, 5.5 reb, 5 assists, 46% from the field, 37% from 3.

However, he needs to kick that scoring up to the 25-27 range again for this train to really get rolling.

Well that's my point...I can't remember any games before that Miami game where he was clutch this season. Granted, he was injured for somegames and we didn't have many close game losses....a lot of blowouts. But VC is here to be clutch...he's a clutch player. I just don't like to seeVC get credit for being "clutch all season" when before the last 2-3 weeks, he was having a bad season by his standards. RJ has been great, Kidddoing his thing as always, we we're struggling so badly because VC's normal great play was missing. It's not a coincidence that we are winninggames and playing much better now that VC is doing his thing again.....

RJ dunk was nice... Josh Smith had a couple of nice ones as well. Nets seem like they like to go down before waking up and coming back. VC seems to haveimproved his mid range shot this year. Coming off screens etc. he is swishing a lot of them. Let's keep it going Nets! Upcoming schedule doesn't lookthat bad so let's take advantage! Let's become one of the top teams in the East!
