PLEASE DONT DO THE INTERCHANGABLE INSOLE!!!!! The Kobe 7 was a HUGE step back in performance!!!! They went away from what made the Kobe line by far the best performance shoe on the market. The 4-6 where absolutely unreal. They need to get back to pushing the envelope of making the lightest, lowest lockdown shoe there is. The 7s are so clunky, I feel sluggish and slow with them on, reaction time seems a half step slow in these, its like the sole slightly moves or take something away from your step, specially your power step, side to side an such. LIGHTER AND LOWER KOBE!!!!

I agree with all the modular systems feeling cheap. At first I was in awe of how it was, but then after pulling out insoles and putting them back in, the outer shoe seems to feel more flimsy and cheap (Jordan 2011, Jordan 2012, Kobe VII System). Makes me appreciate the Kobe VI's that much more...

hmmm,vii.5 has full length herringbone.imo vii is a notch below vi,v,iv but I did like the wide outrigger,partial-herringbone and the full-length zoom of the elite(not the $200 tag though).hopefully the viii has full length herringbone and full length zoom.
