Yes cause the new defensive system will take you some time to get used to. 
Yes cause the earlier days of FIFA were a bit more arcade-%@!

No, cause if you've played FIFA and understand the game, you'll pick it up....


But be prepared to put in some initial work....especially on your defense...

360. 

As soon as you buy the game, play a few rounds, then get straight into Ultimate Team.

I can guarantee you'll almost never play another mode again....

another thing is if you control the player that's getting the ball you can generally run towards the ball just by pointing in the direction of where the ball is coming from. what players seem to forget is that you get a first touch response when you get the ball and pointing in another direction which end up you losing possession if a decent defender is already behind you

also I tried ultimate team but quit because apparently I need to buy new contracts for my players and idk how to get them. BasedGod FC will never risesmiley: frownsmiley: roll

Build from bronzes/silvers, contracts for them are cheap.

if you really need to....beat up a few offline tournaments for quick coins.

Ultimate Team is so addictive, I play everyday. The main issue that needs to be looked at IMO are the linejudges.

If you try to play the ball to a player that's offsides, and a defender gets to the ball before it ever makes it to the intended player, it still calls offsides. Completely pointless. I understand they
want to be cautious but that's overkill.

I'm not too excited about the "realistic first touch" addition either. I play soccer and I hate when i can't get a good first touch, I'm sure it will be hella annoying with bronze players.

Otherwise, I'm stoked!

I firmly believe that FIFA is the GOAT sports franchise but it's time they got off the ball movement down. Players simply checking to the ball would be a start.

This is one of those things that will make it feel like you're playing FIFA 08 for the very first time again.

EA needs to fix the damn connectivity issues. I stopped playing UT after, oh, the 50th time or so that I was disconnected after finishing a game, but not actually out of the game and back to the menu.

laugh.gif at some of yall claiming your good but dont know how to make manual runs for a pass... hold both back triggers and go get the ball...

the downfall is you cant control your players pace as freely when doing this.

the real fix that needs to happen is the marking of players on crosses/corners. sick.gif

its really quite dumb... 85+ skill player crossing ball to aerial threat... lights out. if they dont power head it on you the ball somehow metriculates to their feet for a bunny.

they should make defenders more physical/quicker in the box. and also make it not so easy to get so much space outside

I agree.


Speaking of connectivity issues.  

I wish they would change UT so that someone can't back out once they see the stats of your team. 

I can spend ages waiting for a match cause every time someone sees your midfield/strikeforce and their numbers are slightly lower than yours they back out. 

It should find someone within a certain bracket, and you should be locked in and get straight to the action.

Ill dominate this game as well. Every game i lose, its mostly on some fluke !%%%(will lose by a goal or 2) then we'll rematch and ill just dominate by 2 or more goals.
