Joey Bada$$ 1999 mixtape

maxswoosh713 maxswoosh713 Just caught the one in MIA last night. He knows how to put on a show.

But did he have like 12 opening acts at your show as well? Been there three hours and theyre name-droppin like 3 more performers before Jeoy. Had me like :x

Well, there was DJ Double R, some wack local act duo, then some local dude who was actually pretty good (Why Jae).

Then Statik Selectah was on for the rest of the acts:

Nyck Caution came on. Dude had the place going crazy.

Vince Staples, then Kirk Knight, then CJ Fly.

Then Joey, who brought out the Pro's who had already came out.

Vince stage dove over me, Kirk Knight kicked me in the head when he dove, Nyck stage-dived from the top of a speaker, and I caught Joey's leg when he dove.

It was so packed up front, my joint was up in some chick's butt for like 30 minutes.

Joey started a mosh pit. Almost lost my hat and glasses.

Couldn't wait to get out of the show, but it was bananas AF. Came out soaked and disoriented :nthat:

I've been to one of his shows and they're was mad opening acts but I liked the Pro Era sets. Nyck Caution, CJ Fly, and Kirk Knight had small sets leading up to Joey. Caution was the best imo. CJ Fly was good I knew some of his song from checking out his mixtape. Definitely don't rush to get there though there was about 2-3 acts before them lol

I'm going next Saturday wont be there too early.

Finally...

Not really a Joey fan, but i just heard Christ Conscious a few days ago on Spotify, now i can't stop playing it. Love the beat, flow, vibe, everything. Hope some other rappers jump on it, lol

It is with great tragedy and heartbreak to report that Junior B, manager to, and cousin of Joey Bad*****, has passed away today. Junior B was involved in an accident at the end of November. While we don't know the full details surrounding said accident, it ultimately proved to be fatal.

This isn't the first time tragedy has struck the PE camp. On Christmas Eve of 2012, Pro Era member Capital STEEZ passed away  when he committed suicide.

Joey Bad***** took to Twitter a few hours ago when he announced that he'd be canceling the rest of his European tour.

To my EUROPE fans: I have to cancel the rest of this tour... My cuz just passed and I can't find the strength... I'm sincerely sorry

Interesting to see Elle Varner on the track listing.

Bad***** really got an album dropping. Been a longtime coming.

Man. Really trying not to listen to anything more from Joey.
Really just want to sit down and listen to the project in full. Not a huge fan of the recent raspiness thing has has goin' so we'll see how the whole album is.

I don't want to listen but I do love some Statik Selektah production. I am going to try to hold out until the 20th.

I am glad he did a song with my current favorite Reggae artist Chronixx....can't wait to hear what that track sounds like.

ya, it flows nicely with the other tracks he's dropped off the album already.

i don't wanna spoil it, but he also uses the same sample as a classic tribe song :nerd:
