ive noticed this too. people arent taking really taking trades for these anymore, the ship has sailed on that. you're only hope is trading Yeezy 1s or something really wanted like Miami Night 8s or Nerfs. and every seller who has Solars wants $1400+. even Platinums still go for $1200 easy.

this is probably because the ones who bought them to resell have done it already and the ones who still have them DS arent in a rush to sell because its still many people out there who will pay top dollar for them.

true. im still looking for a pair plats or solars bc i honestly like the shoe and would love to rock them. i was at the current sneaker con in nyc on saturday and i offered my vnds zen yeezy 1s size 11, ds what the kobes, and 300$ to about 7 different people. they still said no. IMO i thought that was a pretty decent offer. i was just shocked that everyone said no. theyre just looking to rape and about 50% of the people selling them online are looking to scam. ive had a few encounters this week where they accept local meetups and then say "ohh im in *insert random state* because *insert random reason*...im not shipping first either." smh struggles

yeah thats why i bit on worn 1x Plats in my size for $1088 shipped. people who have either colorway are greedy and are looking to get as much as possible. out of every shoe that released this year, the only pair that kept their value were the Yeezy 2s (Paranormans and Galaxys dropped like crazy in price). its crazy but a few months ago alot of people would have traded for any colorway of the Yeezy 1s straight up. but now dudes want mad money on top. you wouldve thought someone would have accepted your offer, its a very good one. my best advice is to just sell the Yeezy 1s and WTKs. with that and the 300, youll be able to straight cash someone out. i do know that when tax season comes around, you'll see a resurgance in price. don't be surprised if you see people dropping $1900 on a pair (especially Solar Reds). I saw it happen with South Beaches a few years ago.

ive also noticed that Yeezy 1s have dropped in popularity since the 2s came out. ive noticed alot of people selling theirs as of late. i think that it is because the 1s really looked like more of a boot than a sneaker and that turned off many. the 2s are easier to pull off. I had Zen and Tan 1s and prefer the quality of the 1s by far but like the overall design of the 2 more.

interesting observation....i think it's moreso people trying to gouge folks pockets because some people now want to complete the Yeezy set.
i have 3...would like the missing 2, but w/these prices it may never happen....especially since i need 7.5! a year ago and a half ago i slept on net Y1s for about $800 and the price has since doubled :smh:|I

yeah I remember buying my Net 1s in March 2010 for 440 shipped. I wore the hell out of them and still managed to sell them for $700 shipped earlier this year. I thought I charged too much but now people are selling theirs for $1000+. i blame these newcomers who arent used to waiting for a shoe to drop in price. these kids want their shoes when they come out, no matter the cost. and even though ive been in the sneaker world for years, im forced to conform. because if i refuse to dish out money waiting for a pair of Y2s to drop below 1000, another person who has the money in hand will jump at the opportunity

Very very true. I love my Zens and Tans and i got them both for steals. It would be nice if i could keep them both and get a pair of y2's. Which is what i initially was trying to do. but im not gonna sell my whole damn collection and only be left wit only yeezy's. If i didnt want the yeezy 2's pretty bad i wouldnt even be sweating it but i really cant help it lol. Yeezy 1's have GREATLY dropped in popularity as you said and its sickening like when i offered people looked at me like i was crazy. Like these yeezy 2's are making people feel like they are kanye or virgil abloh themselves. and ************* is so damn sloppy now. I used to get all my good deals from iss and sneakerplay. even though ones are bulky i still love them and dont want to let my zens ago. but i love tans more and one of them has to be sacrificed lol. unfortunately.  at least ill have a pair of each for the collection though.

11.5 is the worst size to have besides 7.5 lol

everybody wears it. size stocks come limited.

sizes willl be like:

1 pair of 7.5

2 pairs of 8-9

3 pairs of 9.5

2 pairs of 10-11

1 pair of 11.5

2 pairs of 12

0 or 1 pair of 12.5

2 pairs of 13

1 pair of 14

you were on sneakerplay? I was too. :lol: my name was also sthebest on there.

what i did was sell shoes i could easily replace (Miami Vice IXs, Laney Vs, GMP VIIs, White Cement IIIs, White/Blue AM1s and a pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers I got at a thrift store that were too big for me). Believe it or not I moved all those shoes in a 2 day span and NONE were DS. I was originally was going for Red Dons but the seller never replied back to me after I won the auction. My best advice is to move a few GR Jordans to get the Yeezys and then cop everything again on Ebay and Facebook. I know first hand how thirsty those kids are on there to sell a release once it gets old and "uncool". For instance, I see Olympic VIs selling for retail and less every day on there.

Alot of people who bought these twos feel like they earned the right to come off as arrogant as Kanye, which is a real shame. The good thing about the hype for Yeezy 1s dying down is that the price is starting to drop again to what they were before the 2s came out.

And word thats some good advice. unfortunately i had to powersale before this to put money in my clothing line. i was just starting to build back up since my collection aint as deep as it used to be. so ill just prolly sell zens and ds olympic 6's and 7's. ill try to squeeze as much as i can out on ebay. ill prolly cop shortly after that. the real question is idk which id prefer solars or plats because theyre both sexy. but ill worry about that when the time comes.destroy and rebuild.

and when its time for me to cop 1's back ill prolly go for blinks instead of zens. maybe both. i just want the old sneakergame back.

yeah i hear you. ive really slimmed my collection down in the past year and a half. i used to have over 100 pairs and now am down to probably 30-40 pairs after i sold my pairs last week. the older i get, the more i realize that im not going to wear that many pairs of shoes in a period of time. i actually started the routine of selling pairs to offset the cost of my newer purchases when i copped my South Beaches.i think this really is the shoe that ruined the game. it constantly sold for 1000 last year. anywho i found a pair practically DS for 500 shipped with OG all and moved two pairs of semi beaters (01 Black Cement IIIs with a shoddy paint job and Playoff XIIIs with messed up suede). i only ended up coming out of pocket $175 afterwards.

try to join one of the selling groups on Facebook and move your Zens there. you'll be able to get at least $750-$900 there. and if you sell your DS Oly 6s/7s, that should give you a easy $1200 right there. You won't be able to get Solars for that amount without adding more cash but will be able to land DS Plats for that. You'll be able to get your Zens back pretty much whevnever you have the money because theyre the least liked Yeezys now and are the cheapest. I never thought that I would have to do this much planning to get a pair of shoes.

My Plats come in tomorrow morning. Will post pics when I get them. Feels like Christmas came early for me :smokin

I WOULDN'T EVEN SELL MY DEADSTOCK PLATS FOR $1200. WOULD TAKE A LOT MORE THAN THAT TO PRY THEM FROM ME BUT THEN AGAIN I'M NOT EVEN LOOKING TO SELL THEM.
