The 3M on the Plats is a nice touch, but I'd rather have my Solars if I had to pick just one. Can't really beat a black based shoe to me when it comes to wearability, and there's less issues with dust/dirt. If I'm gonna spend that much money on a shoe, I'd rather it be on something that I could potentially wear pretty often. That said, I'd love some Plats to go with my Solars

That's why there are plenty premium shoe cleaners like for example Jason Markk, cause laundry can
really mess up sneakers.

I passed by for 3 minutes and just left, the whole scene was just comedy....crowd was 80% corns, 15% local dudes, and 5% lurkers waiting for victims to walk away with Yeezy's

They cancelled the whole event from what I hear. There was a riot, and apparently dudes got pepper sprayed. 2000+ people showed up I heard. Exactly what I expected

im still 3 deep with platinums got rid of solar cuz its actually kinda plain and boring. alot more hype for solar but plat is much cleaner

Yeah...I didn't believe that for a second...This is exactly why you got Nike going to an RSVP system or FTL/FNL going to a raffle/ticket thing. Way too many things can go wrong now with a sneaker release if you do first come first serve. Dudes are thirstier than ever before, knowing they can try to make a quick buck. And wtf is up with people traveling all the way from places like Chicago or Detroit? You're not even guaranteed a pair of Yeezys or whatever else if you show up. It's just a ticket for the first 600, and you know all the local folks are already prepped. If you get there late or whatever, that's a wasted trip entirely. If you're willing to fly out for some shoes, you might as well just pay resale at that point cuz I know buying plane tickets on the fly in December ain't cheap
