On January 5th 2013 for the first time since 1994, the original Air Jordan 1 colorway is back. That excludes the '03 mid patent leather, and '10 AJKO releases. The classic colorway is back with a few changes, which may disappoint some collectors. It no longer has the Nike Air tongue tag, the heel features a Jumpman, lastly the tongue wont be parachute, or nylon it will be leather.

With the Jumpman on the Tounge I just can't do it. It looks awful.

I hate that they use the term "authentic execution" for more than one reason. One, because it cheapens everything else they've done even more so. It's like saying, "hey here's an authentically executed retro...everything else was "poorly executed"...And two, it's CLEARLY not executed authentically if you have a Jumpman on the tongue.

If they're saying authentic executions I'm thinking at least high grade leather will be used on this. Regardless I've been waiting to get my hands on this CW and tl ooks like i'll get my chance.

Never got a pair of the 94' retro and I was never feeling the patent leather. Think its a nice add to the collection even though the royals will triumph

Just saw they are releasing the Knick and Blk/Blue cw alongside these, the other two will have a Nike Air tongue tab. That's the biggest slap in the face by not putting it on these too.

Tag swap because if you rock those 94s excessively they're gonna peel.

Not a bad looking shoe. I want these and the black/blue pair. 2013 looks like it will have some heat but in my opinion 2012 > 2013 based on the releases mentioned so far.
