Thats true. After seeing those Navy/Orange pair you get a original feeling from those pairs. Even with the '01 retro+ 1's, you got a original feeling with the blank heels, eventhough the had a jumpman tongue tab.

When all thus fails I hope one day the I, III, IV, V, & VI have Nike Air. If the II's have em, why the hell cant the others have em?

That tongue really does kill it. That'll really be an easy pass. My 94ms still look brand new either way! :smokinP
 
I'm not a fan of the ones at all (say what you want), but I feel the need to grab these for nostalgic reasons.

It's hard to even dignify this comment with a response. This is the epitome of what niketalk has come to in some respects. People making aimless, uneducated, stab in the wind comments with no substance or anything to back up what is said. We all know the banned 1s was top tier quality. Untypical of JB with what we've seen in recent years. They are how the shoe should be. Nike air on the tounge, no jumpman heel, genuine leather etc. But it will always be that one person out there that just has to complain about something no matter what. They can't help it. I bet this dude don't even have the banned 1s. And if so, I challenge you to give us reasoning as to why you were "dissapointed in the banned 1s". :nerd: We'll wait

Jumpman on the heel is fine with me, but jumpman on the tongue looks cheesy.

Really? Lol its opposite for me. Blank heel because a tongue tag can be removed, but a Jumpman looks bad unstitched on the heel. Copping anyhow.
 
Sad that people will mistake my two pairs of OGs will be mistakened for these retroes...Oh well :\.

I will be living off money I saved from December to whenever I find a real job! and I need Both 1s so far as well as a few 8s and 5s
