Almost slept on these. Not really into sneakers these days, but copped a pair earlier. Should be shipping out tomorrow and be here in a day or so.

Bulls were such an easy pass. JB ignored way too many of the details for me to even consider them. The shade of red, the jumpmans on the heels n tongues, the way too tall leather tongue, the shorter height of the shoe, the smaller width, the crappy leather, the overall shape.....lol.
Have a feeling that JB is just cashing in on this crappy one anyways and getting an idea for demand and then later they'll drop the real deal holyfield for $140. Will be just like the knicks but in the same bulls colorway. People are wondering why only the Knicks had Nike Air....they're probably not the only one....JB is just waiting to drop the other. They're just double dipping you like they do with everything else. It's comedy that people are still blind to it though. All of those 3s and 4s that they released in the past couple years.....here they all come again but with nike air this time lol. And you all will be buying them again just like you will the bulls 1 with Nike Air lmao!

and for those asking about the "OG" jumpman hangtags, it was already mentioned that they DO NOT come with this retro and that they did come with the metallic retros from a few years ago(red, green and purple) that is where some people are getting them from and are just transferring them to this retro instead...

Hey all, I'm new here so please be gentle!

Ordered my pair from NDC (I live in Europe), got a shipping confirmation and tracking# yesterday. But I paid 140€ for them (about $180) and NDC has already lowered the price to 120€... Many sizes still available so if European NTers are reading, go get 'em while they last. (Knicks colorway was sold on European NDC too but is now gone... That was seriously fast.) Kinda bummed about paying more but in this day and age it's happening all too often... (You buy something today, ends up being on sale the next day...)

I must confess I'm not a sneakerhead, but one day I just stumbled on Air Jordans and got the Baron 1s off eBay for a good price. Have been supporting JB ever since, I just like the style and "famous oversized look" that most JB clothes have. Didn't even know what the Baron 1s were, and I used them as beaters! This was just a few years back. Never had the chance to get the original releases of AJ 1s, I wasn't born until 1992 anyway.

HOWEVER, I've been an NT lurker for quite a while, I hope fitting in is a breeze. About that OG tag btw... I saw the video with the JB rep saying these Chicago 1s would be rereleased with the Nike Air tag, etc. (I pretty much read the whole thread before posting first...) And I was thinking, maybe she mistook the Black Toes that are supposed to release later in April for the Chicagos? AFAIK the Black Toes will have the "OG tongue", and they're not all that different from this colorway... Didn't see someone discussing this possibility... (Just thinking, I don't have any insider info.)

Oh and if you search for "air jordan 1 retro og" on eBay, lots of people trying to resell this stuff for around $180-$200 trying to make a quick buck...

Anyway peace I'm going now, was nice to meet you all, my job's starting soon (I work at an Apple reseller) but I know I'll just be hitting the refresh button on that UPS tracking link when I get there!

EXACTLY what I was thinking! Half these reps have NO CLUE what they're talking about 99.9% of the time .

Just look at yesterday for example, FinishLine posts on Twitter they will have the "Black/Red 13s & White/Black/Red 13s" this Saturday for sale. These reps don't know the difference between one shoe or another.

When we get some more concrete info on the Chicago 1's with "Nike Air" then i'll co-sign it, for now it's just wishful thinking to me.

In the meantime, I'll be patiently waiting for the Royals and Black Toes

To those still waiting on Shipping confirmation from NDC, log into your account on the Nike store website and go to your orders page.  Many times they have already been shipped but Nike fails to send you an email.  My Infrared 90s are being delivered today and I never got an actual shipping email from them.

In all honesty, I would not be willing to pay an extra $30, if the jumpman were removed from the heel and a swoosh was added to the tongue. At least there's still a swoosh on the sole of the shoe.
