Every shoe I tried to cop this year I didn't get. I ended up paying those stupid reseller prices. Can you guys give me some specific tips. I swear I am a fail when it comes to this

Just go line up!
That has never not worked for me.

If you have a good spot in line you're guarenteed a pair.

But its all on you, because depending on the release you might have to go really early

All you have to do is be one of the first ones there, and youve got a pair

What's up bro sorry to hear that, first at what time does it local mall open for the release? I would suggest trying 3-4 before the release time

There usually like a 150 more and im not payin that much for sneakers right now.

I usually have a friend get them for me if i can't stand in line for them or i try to get them online but its a 50/50 chance online. The best option is go 2 or 3 hours before opening time at the shoe stores and you should be okay....but like they said it depends on release...if its something crazy like "11's" "cool grey 9's" might want to go the night before.

welp the shoes you want aren't Fila's so sometimes if you want something you need to pay the demand price

1) it depends where you live and how many sneaker heads are in that city
2) camp out, do raffles, do research on how to assure your pair
3) if you live near a Nike store, follow them on twitter and do the RSVP system
4) make a Nike.com account and follow @nikestore on twitter and click on link when shoes are dropped

there is a TON of ways to get em but you gotta do your research.. it will probly take you a while to get a hang of everything before you master copping shoes on release day lol

I was actually just thinking how I can't really get an idea of the hype on the Gold Medal PackRegardless, with the way things sell out these days you should probably be there at least 3 hours before the stores open

Lol bro I feel u. This kid I know thinks he a sneaker head and cops mad shoes but I got the white cement 3's and he said they a fake cw -,-

It's rare now a days that you can just walk into a store and buy something hyped without a problem. There really is no fool proof method at getting the hot new release with ease. Even if you have connects, things change and people move on. With any high in demand shoe, you're gonna have to A) Put in some work (do some research in advance, line up early, or drive a decent distance).... B) Try your luck when they hit the retail websites. But remember you're fighting with everybody else. So copping them online is sorta like playing the lotto....Or C) Pay a lil extra to avoid all that.

Connect has never failed me. Standing in line is something i did once, and once only. it was for the concords, And that was because there were 3 of my close friends, and we had a blast.

My gold medal pack is paid for already, awaiting arrival.

^quit braggin

my advice is to not be impatient. if you fail to scoop at retail, in some cases it pays to just keep an eye out on the various seller forums. it could be months or years later, and someone will let a ds pair go for a reasonable rate since they are desperate for cash.

and remember, they're only shoes.

my advice would be to go into a store at the mall and speak candidly with one of the managers. just ask what their policy is.

like i know a mall that gives out note cards to security and security passes them out one per person that morning.

idk you just gotta try. its not that hard to buy $200 shoes these days

if you want to avoid the hassle, cop them in advance and pay a lil more. If not, just wait in line a few hours early. Drink a red bull and a few cups of coffee u will be fine.
