Lol wut?
They won a championship and he was/is still one of the premier big guys in the league. He's definitely not worth 21 mil, but saying they goofed is making you look like a goof.

All I'm saying is that it's #!% backwards for KG to be making 21.1 mil at age 36. He's not the Big Ticket anymore

no summer break for Mitch.

and just cause so many people hate it

DO IT MITCH!!!!!

Nets could possibly have Deron Williams as their starting point guard and Jason Kidd as his backup......or Jordan Farmar as their starter and Sundiata Gaines as his backup.

He was worth every penny, though. When its paid out isnt really relevant

Its not like he got signed to a one year 20 million dollar contract last year

Boston won signing KG to that contract.

So MJ hires St. John's assistant coach Mike Dunlap?!?
laugh.gif
What in the world?!?! I don't think having long time NBA assistant Tim Grgurich will help with this hire...What is MJ doing down in Charoltte?

Why not try someone new though? Dunlap was good at managing personalties and I would rather get a brand new guy then some recycled coach.

People say they're sick of the same old coaches, then a new guy is hired and they wonder what the GM is doing.

I'm sure he will get that money, but not too sure if he will get that starting role that he's been working hard for.

He wants a multi year deal. In April he said he would opt out. But wants to play in LA for a long time.
And his agent reiterated it today with his comment on why he opted out.

I'm all for giving new blood a chance, but MJ doesn't have a good track record in fact it's abysmal (& abysmal is too light a word for the job he's done, that roster is fugly with no immediate future available for a turn around). Rich Cho cited Dunlap's ability in the player development area so we'll see...

I have a feeling that Cho was the one that went with hiring Dunlap....not MJ. If it was up to Jordan we might have seen "Charles Oakley hired as Charlotte Bobcats new Head Coach" scroll across ESPN.
