Yep, bad move. They almost turned JB to a retro line exclusively.
Yeah, they at least need to have more players like Ray Allen, Q or Juwan Howard wear them. They stopped having people to JB and gave them their signatures(Melo, CP3, DWade), but they still need some young and rising talent the way they used to have with Derek Anderson's and Darius Miles' to promote the line. You have players wearing Jordan's, but retros, which for the life of me I don't understand. Yeah they might look better from a far, but you'd rather wear a pair of X's or IV's than 2012's? If basketball was my career, and your feet, ankles and legs are essential to your livelihood there's no way I'd risk it on 10 and 20 year old technology in half *** retros.

I Agree also, the retros already have a life of their own as they dont need anymore promotion they sell themselves basically.

Players should wear the new models and promote them in various colorways. Its like they only do it around all star game time and then drop the ball.

I remember D.Anderson had beautiful (imo) pe's of the air jordan 9 retro lows. So did Darius Miles, JB should release those white/orange AJ 9 patent mids with the clear soles.
 
I'm very very interested in this Shoe... You guys Keep Forgetting that the SIG Jordan is to the Pinnacle of Performance, and Style a Distant Second... But to Be honest the Recent Sigs at least to me looked nice... SO reserve Judgement until Pictures Come out. But I think these will Turn out to be great all around.

And YOU keep forgetting that the Sig J was all about the blend of PERFORMANCE and STYLE.  The style was just as important as having the most innovative tech.  They have neither now.
 
the 2012 has better quality than most retros lately and i got the unc 2012 they are good but its nothing wrong with the newer js just need to do something new
 
im always anxious to see what jordan comes up with, the same way im anxious to see the Mexican donkey show. its gonna be disgusting, but i still wanna see :nerd:

This looks very promising. Jordan Brand is always on the cutting edge of technology.

The 2012's were really a great sneaker, very comfortable and performance orientated.
My belief is that they did not get great reviews because they design was aimed at a more
more mature buyer - 26+

Same here. I HATED the 2012's when they first surfaced but after seeing more cw's and actually trying on the shoe and wearing them I quickly realized that these were one the better shoes to come out this year IMO

Totally Agree. I thought the 2011 with the windows were crappy, but they grew on me as they hit the outlets....

If these are made with the intentions of performance like that last few models they have potential. I look forward to seeing pictures of the entire shoe.

I think this is right fam, people, kids especially, want to do as their heros do. For me the jordan XII is the only jordan I buy in multiple colors because I remember seeing jordan getting crossed over by iverson. This makes the shoe significant for me as the Playoff XII's were my first pair of Jordans that I remember.  For anyone that owned originals and now buy retros, you may remember exactly where you were when you bought the OG's and the retros may take you back there.

2009, decent except the high heel

2010, beautiful shoe which they f-ed up be putting the window.

2011, swing in the other direction and make them too plain

2012, I dunno wtf they were thinking
 
these are gonna be rediculously priced. i mean if the apl concept 1s started at 300 dollars are something like that. then these if they are really do help your jump will be at least 250 regular and then 360-400 with the nike + tech. i mean these shoes are getting techy but i don't think that it justifies a price increase so high. they already make crazy profit off the retro's. hopefully these come out good and perform well on court but i am not getting my hopes up cuz i think price will be outrageous.

I hope there is a cheaper regular vanilla model. No Nike+, no extra insoles, no extra lace lock , just the shoe
 
Jordan Brand has always and will always be about performance. I'm still holding judgment like always until I get these in hand and on feet! Oh, by the way the 2012 is CRACK! That's all.
 
Jordan Brand has been really innovative the more recent Air Jordan models, but I wish they would put that effort into the design. I haven't purchased anything since the XX3s (which are amazing, BTW), not because they're not numbered, it's just they haven't been attractive enough to justify the price. Sometimes you need to put form before function, it's just a sneaker.

I had the same thought but not because of the tech, because they will probably cost over $300 and will be no better than KD's or Hyperfuse's
