Yeah but I think JB is looking more toward creating performance shoes now. I heard the 2012 was a good shoe to ball in

BTW, glad to see your avy finally got fixed

Nike should've created a new line for this strategy, or put it in a newer players shoe.
I mean seriously why ruin JB?

But then again I could care less since I only cop Jordans 1-13 and plenty of people are this way. (not to say I only cop Jordans)

2012's were dope.

Maybe if Kanye endorsed these, all the kiddies would like 'em? Or if they dropped in some glow in the dark, hot pink colorway??

Couldn't have said it better myself!! I've liked EVERY Sig Jordan that has come out, even the XV. Can't wait to see these!!

Mod or not / Kanye or not
They will be absolute crap. My local Nike Factory has had the same pair of 2012 10.5 for months at $150. They are still there after after making every percentage drop Nike has had.

Sorry but they have become a big marketing tool. I see no functionality with all that crap. They have made they shoe into a pure on court shoe. I am not about to drag all that crap to the court. Im not switching booties either.

The 09's made it to Marshall's and I still passed.

SMH at JB producing those monstrosities.

 what kind of a random *** statistic is 46%...

I enjoyed the 2012 very much, the shoe is VERY well made for basketball, only when they hit outlets were they really worth it though. 180 was too much!

2011 looked and i heard they performed nicely. wish i found them for dirty cheap :frown:

2011s had amazing quality, really did feel exceptionally better than kd3s I also had that year. I actually got to switch from the zoom insole to the max air insole mid-game and it worked wonders.

Hopefully they will realize that performance isn't the only thing they should care about this time. Jordans used to be a beautiful mixture between performance and aesthetics. 2011s were good. 2012s were not. Hopefully 2013s look & perform great like how Jordan sig lines should be.

Don't sleep on any jordan....  in 10 years the 2012's will be sought out and be worth loot.  I buy at least one pair of each even if I don't really like them.  For some reason as time goes by I start to love them.

I hated the 10's when they came out, now I love them...  I hated the 16's but I now I'm slapping myself in the face because I didn't buy them.  I remember when 16s stayed on the shelf for months.....

Don't sleep, you will regret it later.

I agree with you but I doubt I'll even be into kicks like that in 10 years. I'll probably just collect so I can give to my son or something

I think the sneaker hype in the general community will be over by the time the 2012 becomes rare... Besides, as long as jordan 1-14s still exist, I don't see general release 2012s ever becoming sought after like retro 1-14s. Why buy 2012s for over retail when you can still get a pair of 3s or something?

I will sleep on everything past XX3 and will never regret it.
THIS, J's aren't what they used to be ppl are still trying to hold on to In my opinion the nostalgia factor all the new Jordan's have been pure trash. If it weren't for the limited tag they would still be sitting but with all that said I do want to see these n will hold judgment until I see them in person.

Your crazy, I personally think all J's past 14 are pretty dope with the exception of the 2009s the ones that came out that looked like they were made with basketball leather?  I don't know why cats be sleepin....  the 2012's are fresh.  It has nothing to do with a limited tag, ****... 2012's are still on the shelf locally where I'm at.

I'm personally kinda sick of the re-retro trend.... Wish Jordan would just put out retros in new colorways.

Coud the shoe in the top left corner be the 2013? It looks simular to the teaser shown by Counterkicks

No one said 2012s weren't fresh, just that they wont have the same nostalgic factor that the earlier air jordans had. A main reason of this is because quite frankly, the Jordan line has took a backseat to the Lebron, kobe, and durant lines. In 10 years it won't be the 2012 that is sought after, but shoes like preheat lebron 8s, or weatherman KD 4s. I didn't sleep on 2012s, i copped a pair to ball in. But ain't no way I'm gonna stock a pair of 2012s for nostalgia. It would be like stocking a pair of general release Hyperdunks.

Exactly. They are not in the business of trying to create current-gen models that are up to par with the style of the I-XIV, or whatever style you think "ended" the line. They weren't creating the XII to match the creativity and lasting power of the I, and so on.

They're in the business of creating a performance based shoe. Anyway, JB creating shoes in the style of the numbered Jordans = Spizikes, 8.0, Son of Mars. Is that any better?
